Episode on Sunday, October, 19th 2008

Sanyo gets ready for the swayamwar, servants are around her applying the turmeric, they smear it all over her legs and arms, her face wears a pleasant smile. Roopali gently rubs the turmeric on her arms and hands also.

In Prithvi's quarters of the palace in Kannauj the Chand, Pundir and Chand are present with Prithvi who is also getting ready and dresses up in fine clothes, he looks fabulous.
Chand says so what is it Prithvi? If sister-in-law saw this she would die watching you.
Arjun makes the final adjustment on his garment. Prithvi turns around to face everyone revealing himself. Prithvi is dressed magnificently and looks splendid in his clothes, even the false beard and mustache suits him well.

Sanyo is given a dose of incense smoke in her hair and body.

At the altar where the swayamwar will take place Prithvi's army disguised as gurus, swamis assemble and sit in their places.

Sanyo applies the eye makeup, wears the nose ring and ‘bindi’. She is ready and gets up from the dressing table, she sees mother and walks over to her. I will remember you afterwards mother.
Mother takes her hand in hers, so will I, you must....take care of yourself.
Sanyo nods yes with tears coming in her eyes, will you come and meet me in Dhilli mother?
Mother nods yes they both take a big final hug.

In Prithvi's camp, Arjun explains we should give you a hug because after that you won't have time for us anymore. Arjun and Chand also take a big hug from their King.
One spy disguised as Prithvi's swami hails "Maharaj Ki Jai Ho", the four look at him with doubt as he greets them.
So what happened?
Something terrible Maharaj, someone has freed Maharaj Surya Pratap from our arrest.
Prithvi and gang are shocked.

Karthikan is laughing now, so this is the fact, now just tell me when will Mhj. Surya Pratap be arriving here? Karthikan just got information from his guards that they found the real Mhj. Surya P. S.
He should be arriving any time now, says the guard.
He will come before the swayamwar? Karthikan asks.

In Prithvi's camp, Prithvi says if Surya P S, comes to the swayamwar before it starts, then our entire plans will be spoiled. Go and find out who has got him. Arjun is about to leave to do the work Prithvi has ordered, another undercover spy dressed as a swami enters. Arjun asks him what news have you brought in?
The troops who released Surya Pratap from our capture were from Karthikan's army.
Prithvi and gang are alarmed, Arjun tells the troop okay you can go. Now what are we to do Prithvi? The moment Surya P S reaches here all will end.
Prithvi remembers the plan he told Sanyo.

In the pavilion, Jaichand declares that today is a very special day in Kannauj for me, a happy day. So today I have decided that I want to share this happiness with all the public. I want to fill the people with happiness.
Karthikan is pacing back and forth because the swayamwar is about to start soon. I don’t understand why my people are taking so long in bringing him here? If he doesn’t come here in time, all that I have done so far will be wasted. Surya P S has arrived and stands in front of Karthikan. Karthikan looks at him he has come finally.

Again in Prithvi’s room a troop enters to inform the latest news. Maharaj, Mhj. Surya PS has arrived in the palace.
Arjun is annoyed now what are we to do?
Say something Prithvi, says Chand, what step do we take now? The situation has changed just in few moments.
Prithvi gets up from his seat and shouts NO! Nothing has been altered, everything will go accordingly as planned. I will definitely keep the promise I made to Sanyo, yes I will complete!

Karthikan and the real Surya P S have gone to meet Jaichand to reveal the truth. Every time he tried to tell Jaichand something his efforts went futile this time he has real proof. Karthikan introduces Krishnanagar’s real King, Maharaj Surya Pratap Singh.
Surya P S bows in front of Jaichand.
Karthikan continues, the imposter is none other than the Dhilli King, Maharaj Prithviraj Chauhan.
Jaichand comes to realization and is furious, he remembers Prithvi’s comment about the statue which justifies the truth.

Sanyo, says mother, let’s go my daughter. They both finish taking the blessings from God. They finish praying before the swayamwar starts. It’s time for the swayamwar now.
Sanyo smiles she sees Roopali waiting for her also, I am getting scared Roopali.
All brides become frightened like this before going to their in-laws.
Sanyo laughs really? How do you know? They both laugh and leave, mother has a serious look on her face.

Prithvi says I have another plan with me, his buddies are listening. Come fast, but first I will have to meet and inform Sanyo about the changes in the plans. They are interrupted, outside the room the 4 can hear Prithviraj Chauhan! Name called loudly.
Jaichand holds his sword ready, with him are Karthikan and Surya P S, and guards behind, they head directly to Prithvi’s room.
The four realize the situation.
Jaichand and everybody go inside the room nobody is there, the guards all search everywhere. Jaichand is furious, today I will not leave you alive Prithvi! Even if you hide in hell also we will find you and get you even from there! They could not find them. Jaichand orders his guards to search the entire palace, he must not be able to leave here alive. And if he is seen anywhere near the pavilion you must kill him there on the spot, Go!
All of the guards leave in search for Prithvi.
Prithvi is hiding in the ceiling above the pillar, he watches them secretly, they all leave. Prithvi jumps down and lands carefully on the floor, the other buddies also return from hiding. Prithvi says, I will definitely complete the promise I made Jaichand. I will take Sanyo away right in front of everybody during the swayamwar, even if the lightning strikes from the sky, Prithviraj Chauhan never goes back on what he says!

Sanyogita is accompanying her mother to go to the swayamwar. The arrangements have been made outside the palace. The sun shines brightly in the garden where it will take place. Mother guides her on the path with Roopali behind her. Sanyo is adorned with her jewels and fancy sari, she goes down the steps.
Jaichand along with Karthikan and Surya PS also approach the swayamwar grounds. All eligible Kings stand ready in a row for the most awaited moment. Jaichand gestures his hands to the two Kings with him, to take their positions in the garden, they bow to him and leave. Jaichand then walks to the altar to take a seat. He looks at the crowd and sits down.
Sanyo is coming with an entire group of women with her mother by her side, they walk slowly in the direction of the altar.
Jaichand declares the swayamwar officially be started now. He can see his daughter approaching down the aisle. Jaichand stands up and his daughter climbs the steps to reach the altar next to him, along with mother and Roopali. All four can see the crowd in front of them. Jaichand turns and looks at his daughter and says, today you have full freedom and entitled to select a life partner of your own choice.
Mother has a worried looks on her face.
Go ahead and select your life partner. Jaichand calls to the servant to bring the tray with the “varmala” to Sanyo.
Sanyo takes the “varmala” from the tray and holds it ready, she smiles and searches for Prithvi in the crowd of eligible Kings. She cannot see him anywhere she is not able to take any action.
Jaichand looks at her and says Rajkumar Sanyogita go ahead and select your groom.
Sanyo is worried she cannot see Prithvi anywhere she is in a dilemma, but has to follow her father’s orders also. Tears come in her eyes. Father, Maharaj Surya Pratap has not come? She holds the garland in her hand.
Jaichand reacts and quickly points out, there he is the real Krishnanagar’s Maharaj. Surya P S distinguishes himself from the crowd. Maharaj Surya Pratap, he informs his daughter.
Sanyo is in trouble, what she can do now. She holds the garland in her hands. Mother also has realized the truth now.
Go now and start the swayamwar, Jaichand repeats again to his daughter he knows he has put her in a fix.
Sanyo doesn’t move at all.
Go ahead and start the swayamwar, Jaichand says softly once more.
(Prithvi what has happened, where are you?) She thinks in her mind.

Prithvi is getting ready, he puts on his chest plate. Then he ties on the leg armor.
Sanyo has no choice but to proceed, she walks down the steps of the altar, with the “varmala” in her hands. Roopali accompanies her down while she sees all the Kings stationed in front. Sanyo comes alone to the aisle and stands, still cannot figure out what to do.
Prithvi puts on his arm plate and ties it tightly, then he puts on the belt around his waist.

Sanyo looks on and doesn’t move. Her father and mother see her. She finally moves on slowly.

Prithvi places the helmet on his head, he is ready for the swayamwar now. Prithviraj takes his sword and moves on to finish his work.
Sanyo has made it half way down the aisle with a terrified look on her face. She passes near Surya P S he bows down to her, no use.

Prithvi makes entry to the garden where the swayamwar is taking place, he slays two guards at the entrance. He walks ahead one more guard tries to stop him, hes gone too. More and more guards stationed in the area are now alerted they try to stop him too. Prithvi finishes them all off too, swords clash.
Sanyo stands alone in the middle of the aisle, she thinks, I will only put this ”varmala” on your neck Prithvi , nobody else’s. She turns around and faces he father again.
Rajkumari Sanyogita go ahead and select your groom.
Sanyogita turns around and walks ahead towards the statue of Prithvi that is kept outside at the end of the garden meant to insult Prithviraj and degrade him because he was not invited.
Jaichand can see his daughter isn’t following his orders. Once again he orders, Rajkumari Sanyogita!
The “muhurath” of the swayamwar lapses, decide fast! Didn’t you hear what I said! Select any one of the “maha-veer” Kings who is present here and complete the swayamwar! Jaichand is getting irritated.
Sanyo again turns to face her father, for me father there is only one “veer” Maharaja, the King of Dhilli, Maharaj Prithviraj Chauhan!
Jaichand heard what she said, mother watches so does Roopali.
Prithvi is engaged in fighting off the guards, he eliminates them all and gets entry to go to the swayamwar.

Sanyo warns her father, you can do whatever you want, I will put this “varmala” only on his neck. Sanyo turns and looks at the golden statue of Prithvi and walks directly to it.
Jaichand is very angry.
Sanyo passes by all the kings, everybody is watching her.
She reaches the statue and pauses, she looks at it with the garland ready in her hand. After a moment Sanyo finally raises her arm and places the garland on the statue very carefully.
Jaichand is furious he yells Sanyogita! Today I will finish your life! He gets his sword in hand and walks down the steps, and goes directly to Sanyogita, mother is worried.
Pundir, Arjun and Chand are waiting among the guests secretly they can see Jaichand coming with sword in hand to get his daughter.
Sanyo has her eyes closed, Prithvi comes behind the statue and whispers Sanyogita?
Sanyo opens her eyes and sees him, Prithvi? Please take me away from here.
Jaichand has come, he lifts his sword in the air to strike Sanyo, Prithvi quickly comes out from behind the statue and catches his arm to stop the lance. Jaichand goes arghhhh!
Prithvi confronts him they stand face to face, all three of them together.

Episode on Saturday, October, 18th, 2008

Prithvi is in his room and gets ready to meet Sanyo, he puts on the ornaments on the forearm than he puts on the bracelet. Prithvi reaches for the ring and puts it on, he glances in the mirror. Prithvi lastly puts his cap and looks satisfied in the mirror. He leaves for the hall and finds his friends waiting for him in the room itself, they have already put on the fine clothes. When did you people come here?
Chand says we have been here for a long time, just waiting for you to get ready.
Um…Prithvi were you going somewhere? Arjun asks him and scans the new garments he is wearing.
Not really.
You look like you were getting ready, as if you were going to meet someone? Pundir wants to know.
Okay okay, stop your nonsense, I am going for a walk.
Arjun says, really?
Chand pulls Prithvi’s hand and says, come lets go.
Prithvi wants to avoid them, hey, now if I need to lose you all, I will have to go from here fast.
Oh listen we will also accompany you too Arjun insists, Prithvi has already left.
Prithvi looks around in the hallway to make sure nobody watches him. He sees no one and walks ahead. Maharaj Karthikan is hiding in the dark corner watching him.
Prithvi looks behind him again to check once more.
Mhj. Karthikan ducks behind quickly, it’s so late at night where would Mhj. Surya Pratap Singh be going at this time? He walks forward behind him and hides again, there is something doubtful about him. I must watch him carefully. Prithvi walks ahead and he follows behind closely, Prithvi takes a turn in the hallway.
Mhj.Karthikan stops and watches Prithvi, looks like he’s going in the direction of Rjk. Sanyo’s room, nobody can take away Rajkumari Sanyogita of Kannauj from me. She’s only mine only mine, he leaves.

Prithvi has reached Sanyo’s room, he opens the door and enters quietly he then closes the door softly, he can see her sound asleep. Prithvi walks to her bed and tickles her feet with a peacock feather. She doesn’t wake up and only turns in her bed. Prithvi then sits next to her and blows air on her face, she wakes up and sees him. I am so crazy I can even see you with my eyes open in my dreams.
Now you see reality as dreams?
Sanyo wakes up suddenly it’s you Prithvi? What are you doing here, if somebody comes and sees you here, then there will be a chaos.
Yes, if you shout any louder than this, then they will definitely come. Prithvi gestures with the peacock feather in hand to the door.
I am telling the truth Prithvi if my father finds out that you are here, then….
Then what? Prithvi doesn’t seem to be worried about it. He is cool and calm
Sanyo is speechless she gets up from the bed and sees the door is open, and you are so….My father always walks around with his sword. She goes to close the door shut.

Mhj. Karthikan is with Jaichand he explains, it is so, right now Mhj. Surya Pratap is in Rjk. Sanyo’s room. I have seen him enter the room with my own eyes.
Jaichand is angry are you in your senses to understand what you are saying?
Yes, I am very sure about it Maharaj. If you find me telling lies then you can take your sword and behead me.
Jaichand takes the sword in his hands and leaves for Sanyo’s room.

Sanyo shuts the door and smiles at Prithvi she goes to him.
What you think, I am scared of your father’s sword?
Sanyo sits next to Prithvi if you don’t, you better be scared of him.
Okay then if I got scared of his lance, then how will I be present for the swayamwar?
Sanyo cannot reply to Prithvi’s question.

Jaichand and Karthikan walk steadily in the hallway to get to Sanyo’sroom.

Prithvi moves closer to Sanyo, Sanyogita he says softly. I will get you from any door of the world, he nods to her.
Jaichand and Karthikan come nearer and nearer.
Sanyo relaxes her head on Prithvi’s shoulders thank-you for coming Prithvi, otherwise for the swayamwar I would not be able to select anyone.
Really? There are many Rajas/Maharajas with you here, Prithvi taunts.
Sanyo gets annoyed and tries to bash him.
Prithvi quickly gets up and tries to run.
Sanyo follows him, just you come in my hands then I will show you. Sanyo grabs Prithvi and they both fall on the bed. Prithvi looks into her eyes.
Meanwhile her father and Karthikan are approaching and they are not aware of it. Both gaze into each other’s eyes.
Sanyo is finally distracted by the footfalls near her room, they are sounding very close now. Sanyo gets up quickly, looks like someone is coming she tells Prithvi.
Both of them walk to the last turn in the hallway.
Sanyo is worried what we will do now, I am afraid.
Prithvi is cool and holds her head, you just don’t worry Sanyo, just go back to sleep, we will meet in the morning, he kisses her forehead and leaves through the window. He takes one last look at her before jumping out of the window.
Sanyo goes back to the bed quickly and sleeps.
Jaichand pushes the door open, both of them enter the room and walk over to Sanyo’s bedside. She wakes up and asks, what is it father is everything alright?
Jaichand looks at her and sees nobody in the room, he looks at Karthikan now you have anything else to say?
How can this be? I saw him with my own eyes. Maharaj Karthikan looks around in the room.
Sanyo does drama, so what has happened father? Can you please explain to me.
It’s nothing daughter just go back to sleep.
Karthikan cannot find anyone present in Sanyo’s bedroom, Jaichand scolds him, enough now, let’s go from here. Jaichand and Karthikan leave the room.
Sanyo is relieved, they had no doubt on her.
Jaichand halts in the hallway, he says how dare you play such tricks on me. My daughter is my pride.
I know that Maharaj, but I saw with my own eyes Mhj. Surya Pratap enter Rajkumari Sanyogita’s room……..
Enough of that, enough Maharaj Karthikan! Enough! If you even try to degrade me or my daughter and say one more word about it, I will have to order you to leave this palace. Be thankful that you are my guest here, I do not wish you to talk about this anymore. This is my last warning that I give to you. Jaichand leaves and goes to do his own matters.
No, Maharaj, I am not the kind to give up so easily. Karthikan vows, by tomorrow, when the rituals start I will disclose the true facts of Surya Pratap at any cost.

Its morning, Prithvi is in his room getting ready by the dressing table, he puts on the belt, then puts on the overcoat.
Simultaneously Sanyo is in her room and applies henna. She puts the ‘bindi’ on her forehead. She puts and adjusts the nose ring on her nose. Sanyo applies the “sindhoor” and smiles in the mirror she is pleased with herself.

Prithvi is almost ready and places the turban on his head he looks into the mirror.
In another part of the palace Karthikan’s one spy questions Arjun randomly they are both in the hallway. We have heard good stories about your kingdom Sarkar. Your Kingdom’s mangoes are well known and tasty in the world, but which territory is it found in?
Arjun acts as if he so great and is not aware that he is being tested. Um..um…um……he cannot reply he doesn’t even know the answer…um….North! He points in the air, northern direction he says confidently. You come he tells the spy, the mango garden is there. Arjun pats him and leaves quickly.
The spy has figured it out, wow Maharaj, you don’t even know what is in the northern area of your own Kingdom? Not mangoes but a desert, mountainous range. He nods positively and goes to inform Karthikan.
The spy returns to give the feedback, he tells Karthikan, Maharaj? Surya Pratap’s friends don’t seem to know any details about their own Kingdom.
Karthikan is pleased to know this, so my doubts were legitimate. Now there is only one way to make the suspicions change to truth, he tells his spies. In the “darbar” the swayamwar rituals are about to start and preparations are in full swing. Surya Pratap will be in that area, in that time you must go to his room and search the entire place. If you are able to find any significant item inform me immediately. We will finally get to see what this Surya Pratap is really made of.
In the “darbar” all are assembled. Jaichand sits in his throne. The 4 walk in, Prithvi bows in front of Jaichand to give him respect as he enters, he goes to sit in his seat. Mother and Roopali bring Sanyo all dressed up into the “darbar”. Jaichand is looking, all the people, guests and Kings watch and stand up as she enters the place. She takes a seat surrounded by her servants. All the other Kings including Prithvi get seated again.
For entertainment, one dancing group enters to sing and dance, they sing of ‘henna on the bride’s hand’. The song takes Prithvi back into the past about this friend’s wedding. Sanyo watches Prithvi and he looks at her too.
Karthikan waits for his spies to return with any news.
The spies have reached the room and search on the bed they remove the bed clothes and see underneath. They open the bags and search in the clothes.

Back in the “darbar” Prithvi’s friends lead him to dance and Sanyo also gets up to enjoy herself too, both look at each other as the singer sings the song. Both of them imagine they are the only ones in the room together alone, singing the song to each other.
After a moment Roopali pulls Sanyo away and they are brought back to reality. Everybody enjoys the dance.

In Prithvi’s room the spies have searched all places making everything upside down, they finally open a drawer and remove its contents. The spy recognizes a stamp with its distinct design and symbol, this looks like the official Dhilli stamp. The spies leave the room to alert Karthikan.

All continue to dance in the court, Jaichand, Mother, Pundir, Arjun , Chand and Prithvi, everyone.
The spies return and say, Maharaj see this, the official Dhilli stamp and presents it to Karthikan. Karthikan takes the stamp in his hands and gets up from his seat he looks at Surya Pratap, so you are not Surya Pratap after all but Dhilli’s King, Maharaj Prithviraj Chauhan.
The dancing and music is finished, Jaichand is impressed by Surya Pratap and pats him on his shoulders, because of you today, my palace has been rewarded with happiness. Maharaj Surya Pratap Singh my heart says that Rajkumari Sanyogita should select you in the swayamwar.
Don’t worry Maharaj, your daughter’s selection will be just as same as yours.
Jaichand is pleased to hear such words.
You just see she will put the “varmala” on my neck.
Jaichand pats Prithvi’s shoulders, in your mouth, ghee and sugar.
Prithvi bows his head positively.
Karthikan watches them both, he thinks if Jaichand still doesn’t believe me now, he will throw me out of the palace in anger. I must go to him with proof, that to before the swayamwar starts in the morning. If he really is Prithvi then where is the real Surya Pratap? Karthikan orders his spies to go and find out where the real Surya Pratap is.
Yes, Maharaj the spies go to search.
Now we will see who Sanyo will select in the swayamwar says Karthikan.

Prithvi and gang are in their room. Prithvi discusses the plans. In the morning tomorrow there should not be any kind of problem or confusion says Prithvi.
Pundir replies, no problems, all the arrangements for the send off are in place.
Has our “sadhu” group reached this palace?
Arjun says yes, he must be giving blessing to Jaichand right this moment.

In the palace a group of “sadhus” assemble before Jaichand, still another group waits behind. Jaichand takes his blessings from them he closes his eyes and bows to them.
In a split moment the “sadhu” is pushed aside, switched and replaced. Jaichand opens his eyes to see the new swami who will perform the rites, he doesn’t realize the change.
May “Bhagwan nath” bless you with your entire wishes fulfilled, tells the swami.
Jaichand looks at him with his hand in praying position he acknowledges the gesture.

Back in the room Prithvi says all I need to do is inform Sanyogita about the plans, and confirm that she is ready for it and end her waiting.

Sanyo is very happy she twirls around in joy in her room, I just can’t wait for the swayamwar now, how I am so happy today, shucks, I wish that my swayamwar took place today. Sanyo twirls around even more her dress is lifted in the air round and round. She sees Prithvi coming through the window. Prithvi?
Prithvi jumps over the window and lands inside the room he knocks Sanyo down onto the floor as he lands, she was coming to get him at the window. Prithvi gets up and pulls her hand to assist her, to get up also.
You couldn’t wait till morning?
Is it possible for you to wait then?
Sanyo cannot reply she smiles at Prithvi.
Prithvi takes her chin and slowly says “jungli bhilli” (wild cat) don’t even know how to be shy, he hugs her. Now listen to me carefully he takes her to the bed and they both sit down comfortably. Tomorrow as soon as the swayamwar starts in the morning, one group of my army will enter the palace and take their positions. The moment you put the “varmala” on me, I will take you away right in front of everyone after I reveal my true identity. I will take you away with me forever and ever.
But Prithvi if father….
I had promised to take you away right in front of everybody?

Arjun and Pundir encircle the entire 'darbar' commenting and gossiping about each and every one of the eligible grooms present. Arjun seems to raise his voice many times while discussing with Pundir.
Prithvi watches them do the work.
Again Pundir and Arjun talk behind the back of another King.
Prithvi cannot control his laugh anymore.
Looks like they covered each and every guest making up stories about, he said this, and they said that, so everyone can hear them and get aggravated and annoyed, ruining their chances at the swayamwar.
One King says to another, you think you are a big fish eh? When Sanyogita chooses me we all will come to know the fact who is the real scaredy cat.
In another corner two other Kings argue, when Sanyo places the "varmala" on my neck, then only this idiot will understand.
Prithvi can hear them argue and watches how everybody challenges each other, the situation is so funny, he laughs. Each and every guest at Kannauj has been insulted in some way, all of them look annoyed. Arjun and Pundir return to Prithvi's and Chand's side.
Prithvi cannot control his laugh and says, hope after doing all this, they all will leave.
That time will be approaching soon, Arjun chuckles.

Announcement; Maharaj Jaichand and Rajkumari Sanyogita!
The four watch as Sanyo and her father come into the 'darbar'.
Sanyo is accompanied by her mother and she wears the new garments brought by her father, her head is bowed down with a glum expression. Servants come with many trays behind.
Prithvi looks and smiles at her.
Jaichand tells Sanyo all the people are looking at you, you need to have only a smile on your face and nothing else. Jaichand takes her arm and leads her into the 'darbar" in front of everybody and all the guests so they can see her up close.
She walks ahead and passes many people, she is just about to pass Prithvi, but he blocks her with his arm. He stretches his palms out in front of her to catch her tears that fall from her eyes.
Sanyo looks at him, she doesn't even recognize him, she thinks it is Maharaj Surya Pratap.
Prithvi looks at her, if you cry such expensive tears then the whole world’s sadness will disappear.
Jaichand tells Sanyo to wipe her tears and walk ahead.
Sanyo wipes her tears and they all pass by the 4. Jaichand, Sanyo and Mother go and stand near the throne, he introduces himself, I am Maharaj Jaichand of Kannauj, and welcome you all. I have arranged for you all, a challenge, look above yourself, you can see up the rotating fish.
Everybody looks up and sees the rotating fish attached to a stick. Prithvi and gang look up. Prithvi eyes the fish and knows he is capable of completing the task easily.
Each and every one of you will have to aim at the moving fish's eyes and hit it accurately while looking at the water below. I want to see who has the capacity to hit accurately and dedicatedly in relation of the worthiness to become the groom and regarding the interests of me and Sanyogita. Come, start now. Jaichand hails for the challenge to start.
Maharaj Gangadhar says I will show you Maharaj Somaya!
Maharaj Somaya replies back, what will you show me! Everybody will see your "tamasha"!
Pundir is enjoying, let’s see the fun he comments.
The two kings are angry, Mjh. Gangadhar takes his sword and fights. Mhj. Somaya also replies back with his sword. Argh! Argh! Two lances clash.
Jaichand quickly goes to mediate, he stops them from fighting by grabbing their hands, there is no use of fighting like this, everybody will get equal chances.
Prithvi takes the opportunity to stand near Sanyogita, he says I have heard about your beauty from many people. For this reason, I made a wish to meet you. Today after seeing you I realized why they talk about you like that, anybody will try to do anything just to get you.
Sanyo gets annoyed and looks at the chilies in a bowl on a table nearby. Really you would do anything for me?
Yes really, I could even die for you.
No it’s not necessary for you to die for me, says Sanyo.

She gestures towards the chilies on a table, see it over there, eat that!
Prithvi looks and sees it, only this? He walks over to the table and puts his sword down. Prithvi lifts the bowl of green chilies, he takes one in his hand and eats it.
Sanyo watches him.
Prithvi looks at her the whole time while eating the chilies, he coughs and smiles at her. He finally finishes the whole bowl and puts it back on the table.
Sanyo is not ashamed and sorry, you ate the whole bowl?
If you ask in such a lovely tone how can I refuse?......Jungli Billi!
Sanyo is silent for a moment then she finally recognizes him, Prithvi? She is shocked.

Maharaj Somaya and Maharaj Gangadhar again fight with swords. One of them says stop I will kill you!.
Jaichand again tries to mediate and tries to stop them from fighting.
Prithvi comes into the piture and tells Jaichand, don't worry Maharaj I will look after them.
Prithvi whispers in one of the King's ears, you first allow me to take action. Prithvi then walks over to the other King and tells him you first let me take the target then you will win. Prithvi makes both of them quiet and stops the quarrel.
Jaichand is happy, thank-you Maharaj you have done good.
Prithvi is obliged he tells Jaichand what are you saying, I still need to show one by one what I can do in front of you. Gradually you will see it all slowly, slowly.

Everything is under control in the "darbar" the game starts. All watch the fish, it rotates up above everyone. One King is stationed to shoot he takes the bow/arrow in his hands and looks up at the fish. He pulls the bow and gets ready to aim while he looks in the water. The King releases the bow and the arrow misses.
Sanyo looks and is pleased, he missed.
The next King also takes his turn and misses too.
Prithvi saw it and is amused.
Sanyo is also happy that he had also failed.
Jaichand acts as if he is not paying attention.
Now its Maharaj Somaya's turn, he watches carefully in the water taking his time to shoot, he releases his bow, he has missed target too.
Sanyo can't help smiling.
Prithvi waits for his turn.
Jaichand doesn't look thrilled by any of the people. Jaichand eyes Prithvi and requests Maharaj Surya Pratap to try next. It's your turn now, come, he calls him.
Prithvi acknowledges him and is obliged.
Sanyo smiles even more.
He walks over to the area and takes the set of bow/arrow in his hands. Prithvi comes forward and looks at the rotating fish, he walks to the pond of water that is exactly below it. Prithvi's mind is now totally concentrated on the rotating fish. He gets his bow and arrow ready and aims it upward while looking into the water.
Sanyo, her father and everybody watches him.
Prithvi takes his time, paying attention to the eye of the fish and nothing else, he holds the bow/arrow exactly in position, he looks into the water and releases the bow. Bulls-eye, he shot the arrow directly in the fish's eye.
Sanyo smiles again, she is happy and proud, and looks at her father. Jaichand is also relieved that someone got it finally.
Pundir and Chand also are thrilled so is Arjun.
Prithvi looks at Jaichand and walks over to him.
Jaichand is really pleased with him, Great Maharaj! Just great! What perfect aim you have hit.
Prithvi says nothing but grins he walks to the side.
One King is jealous and disappointed, he claims that he has done a trick and points at Prithvi.
Everybody's attention is on him.
He must have cheated to hit the fish, nobody could do it except for him! This King is so angry that he walks over and pushes Prithvi very hard. Prithvi falls forward to the ground.
Sanyo and his buddies are alarmed.
Jaichand rushes to the King, how dare you insult my guest like that!
Prithvi's fake beard has come off partly, Sanyo and his buddies realize it. Prithvi also realizes it in time and tries to stick it back in place.
Mother also notices his beard is off and recognizes him as none other than Prithviraj. She is relieved he is there.
Tell me! Give an answer! Shouts Jaichand.
Prithvi still has time and tries to adjust the fake beard on his face before getting up, he is still down on the ground.
Sanyo is shocked what will happen now.
Jaichand still scolds the King, how dare you think of even touching him. Jaichand walks over to Prithvi and asks for apologies, sorry Maharaj, you have been insulted right in front of me, get up Maharaj.
Prithvi still cannot get up he is on his knees, the beard is still not fixed properly on his face.
Sanyo and Chand look in horror.
Prithvi uses both hands to adjust the beard again. Sanyo and mother don't know what to expect now. Arjun thinks of taking action to save the circumstances.
Jaichand offers his hand to Prithvi for help, to get up.
Arjun comes forward and says its okay Maharaj stop I will help him up.
Jaichand and the King watch them from up close.
Arjun helps Prithvi upward while he still tries to get that beard to stick properly on his face and prevent it from coming out, otherwise Jaichand will find out he is not Maharaj Surya P S, and the entire plan will go wasted.
Arjun assists Prithvi in getting up, finally Prithvi's beard is in place and he faces Jaichand once again.
I am really sorry for this Maharaj Surya Pratap Singh, after being my guest, you have been insulted.
Its okay Maharaj, there is no need to be sorry in front of your to be, son-in-law, likewise you are elder to me. I am grateful enough that you have given your hand to assist me.
Wow! Surya Pratapji, your great! How big you are Maharaj, bigger is your heart! I am so happy to meet you.

The full moon shines in the dark sky, Sanyo is happy in her room, she sits pleased in front of her dressing table looking at the mirror. Sanyo removes her jewelry and smiles. She remembers Prithvi, how he ate the chilies, she waits for Prithvi to come. Mother comes by her side instead, she is serious, Sanyogita?
Sanyo's attention is diverted, just because Prithvi has come here it doesn't mean you should be happy, you should be worried instead, my daughter.

Sanyo and Jaichand walk down the aisle to meet each of them and introduce themselves.

Sanyo doesn't even respond to him her attention is elsewhere.
Jaichand is apologetic to him, looks like my daughter Rajkumari Sanyogita has tired out at this time. Now can I only meet you all at the evening dinner and functions?
It's okay Maharaj by the time evening comes her tiredness will subside, tells the King.
Jaichand calls his daughter to come.
(No she says, actually father has hidden the truth from all of you, I am not really tired at all but the truth is, I have already married Maharaj Prithviraj Chauhan of Dhilli.

Surya P S has been stripped and tied up, guards have been kept on him to prevent his escape.
Prithvi and gang leave for the Kannauj palace dressed in their garments to attend the swayamwar. Prithvi gets on his horse to leave.
Pundir tells Prithvi, take this Maharaj Surya Pratap, the invitation for you to go to the swayamwar.
Arjun and Chand grin.
Pundir gets on his horse, all set forth to the Kannauaj palace.
While leaving Chand warns and comments on Surya P S, Dhilli's naresh Prithviraj Chauhan is leaving to get his Sanyogita, till that time you relax here, understand.

In the palace Sanyogita gets restless in her quarters. Roopali meets her.
Father has lined a strange looking crowd for the swayamwar, with faces that make you laugh.
Roopali assures her that there is nothing to worry about, you are already married to Maharaj Prithvi.
Yes the marriage was performed already Roopali but I still will have to tolerate all this, till the send off. It’s not that easy, I still have to meet all these Rajas and Maharajas whom I don't want to even see.
Roopali sits down right beside her, just don't worry, it’s only 3 more days for the swayamwar, and you will only have to go with Maharaj Prithvi, right.
But how Roopali, how? You know how father has arranged security in the palace. How will it be possible for Prithvi to enter the palace in the first place?

Prithvi and gang have reached the steps of Kannauj palace on horse, they halt, with Prithvi in front. The 4 get off their horses and walk towards the guards.
One guard asks for identification.
Chand replies, (they are all in disguise so nobody recognizes them) Krishnanagar's Maharaj Surya Pratap Singh.
Pundir hands over the invitation to the guard.
The guard takes it and reads it, he crosschecks and nods. Come Maharaj, welcome to Kannauj, Maharaj has been waiting for you, he shows him the steps.
Prithvi says yes, I too have become anxious to meet him. All four make their way up the stairs.
Jaichand is waiting at the top, come Maharaj come all the guests have come, I had been waiting for you for a long time.
Sorry Maharaj for coming a little late.
Jaichand smiles and nods.
I had to make special arrangements for Rajkumari Sanyogita before coming.
I am very happy to see you here Maharaj.
Let God continue your happiness, says Prithvi aka SPS.
Come! Jaichand requests them he doesn't know their real identity.

Prithvi and his 3 friends are annoyed by the insult but have to keep quiet about it anyways. Prithvi comments why did you think of this?
That's because I have a lot of justifications to make with Prithvi.
Prithvi tightens his fist keeping control of his emotions, he takes one step forward towards Jaichand and says to him, then why don't you confront him directly, what will you get by doing such degrading acts?
Jaichand gives a chuckle and looks at Prithvi aka Surya P S, and says looks like you have some special connection with Dhilli 's Maharaj Prithvi's figure. Perhaps a very extraordinary connection?
No, no nothing like that Maharaj, its just that, my father-in-law to be must keep his pride and self respect, that's all I wish.
Jaichand is marveled and pleased with those words, excellent! You have good thoughts. I am very sure that Rajkumari Sanyogita will be happy to meet you, come let's go. Jaichand leads the way.
They enter through the door, Prithvi tells his buddies to wait behind here. They both go ahead.

I will not get ready at all, and will not celebrate anything, shouts Sanyo, go and take these things back, she orders. The servant has brought all her things to wear for the swayamwar.
The servant leaves and a guard walks into her quarters. Rajkumariji, Maharaj Jaichand brings Krishnanagar's Maharaj Surya Pratap Singh to introduce you to him.
I don't want to meet anyone she shouts on him. Go and tell them.
Jaichand and Prithvi are on their way.
Another servant brings a tray to her.
I have told you already that I will not wear these things, she throws a shawl into the air!
The shawl lands on Prithvi's head, he removes it slowly.
Jaichand introduces his daughter, this is Rajkumari Sanyogita.
Sanyogita jerks her neck to look at him.
But Prithvi is still polite, he smiles and nods at her even after the shawl landed on his face.
And this is Krishnanagar's Maharaj Surya Pratap Singh.
Sanyo doesn't looks at him.
Prithvi grins.
Sanyo, in his kingdom there are 4 big cities and the stories about his bravery are told in far off lands.
Prithvi looks at Sanyo.
That's good, his bravery will be useful for you, and your bravery will be useful for him too.
Jaichand is angry with her, for that silly response.
Prithvi sides with Sanyo and says, what she said is correct, once she selects me in the swayamwar, then Krishnanagar and Kannauj will be one, obviously.
Jaichand is pleased and smiles he nods his head.
Prithvi slowly walks over to her and hands back the garment which she threw in the air and puts it back on the tray, the servant still holds. I like your thoughts he says to her.
I am tired and would want to rather sleep, she replies back rudely.
Sanyogita! Jaichand is annoyed by her behavior.
Prithvi says its okay she will rest for a while and everything will be alright. Prithvi walks back to Jaichand’s side.
Jaichand says come, they both leave the room, Prithvi looks behind to see her once more.

Mother along with more servants carrying trays, enter Sanyo's room. Mother sits beside her, Sanyogita its time to get ready my daughter, you already know of father's anger. Mother takes out the things to show, from the trays one by one. He has ordered from all over the world the fancy and exquisite garments and ornaments made by specialized artists all just for you. Sanyo see these! Mother takes out and shows the special Kashmiri silk 'lenga' and Dacca's velvet veil. See these ornaments daughter! See the intricate design on the ornaments, your father has ordered each and everyone from all over the world.
Sanyo is growing irritated by this all, it doesn't matter from where it has been brought from, I have nothing to do with it. Why can't you make an understanding that my marriage has already taken place with Prithvi. I don't want any of this, she chucks the garments and ornaments on the floor.
One bracelet rolls all the way to Jaichand's feet. He has returned to her room alone, and watches her behavior as he enters.
Mother sees him.
Sanyo is not aware and continues talking, he has brought a collection of strange things from the entire world, I will not go in front of the silly looking line-up. Why can't father understand simply?
Jaichand is listening to the whole conversation he walks up behind her, she is still unaware of it.
Why can't he see in front of his fake glamour? If father wishes this only, then so be it, I will also show them in a ridiculous way, how much they are all big fools and idiots. If I do not drive them all away by tonight my name isn't Sanyo! Tell me where to go mother, I will go in front of them in these same clothes I am already wearing. Sanyogita finally turns around to see her father, the expressions on her face change.
Jaichand responds you will now get ready and you will sit near everybody! And if you even try to do something ridiculous, remember this, I will forget completely that you are my daughter.
But Maharaj! Mother intervenes.
Enough Queen enough this has all happened because of you, you have spoiled her by your love, and attention, that she has become ready to throw dirt on her own father today and degrade me! You have only done this! You have given her love that has made her into a spoiled brat! Enough Queen! I have already seen enough of your motherly love. From now on whatever I say, you will listen, he scolds his daughter. Get her ready as fast as possible, you understand it?
Tears roll down mother's face, Sanyo tells her not to cry. I will get ready now, okay? I can at least do this for you.
Jaichand is listening with a stern look in his eyes.

In the ‘darbar’ the Kings discuss among themselves and chit chat. One exclaims that he promised Jaichand that if the "varmala" falls on his neck I will build a kind of palace that nobody has ever seen before or heard of.
Prithvi and gang can hear him talk, they walk nearby in his vicinity.
Another King says I have already started to build a palace for Sanyogita because I know already she will put the "varmala" on my neck only.
Prithvi listens to that too.
Another King says I have already declared half of my kingdom to Rajkumari Sanyogita during the introduction ceremony.
Prithvi is listening to all these promises made by the Kings, he and his friends are not happy with them. Pundir and Arjun look at each other. They both walk over to another king. Arjun tells Pundir did you hear that?
What asks Pundir.
I will tell you but, be brave, he whispers to Pundir, what were you saying about Maharaj Gangadar and Maharaj Somaya?
Pundir does shhhhhh!.
Prithvi watches them both.
Talk softly Gangadar Maharaj is standing behind you. And if he listens then he will start the battle here. whispers Pundir.
Tell me more, this Gangadar talks about of "veertha", Arjun continues to gossip.
Yes? Questions Pundir.
Yes says Arjun, once he sees the sword he becomes fearful, he laughs.
Prithvi is amused by their drama and laughs.
Pundir says, go and see there Maharaj Somaya. They both have moved behind him and gossip, Pundir exclaims that Gangadar Maharaj was saying Maharaj Somaya only has fought one war where he threw the sword and ran away.
Arjun laughs, and says loudly, what you are saying!
Gangadar and Somaya have been ridiculed by Pundir and Arjun. Both have heard each other’s comments that Pundir and Arjun said deliberately behind their backs, now both kings look at each other angrily.

Mother is getting her daughter ready and does the finishing touches to her hair. Sanyo looks at the mirror of the dressing table.
Jaichand returns back into the room and asks Queen, is Sanyo ready?
Yes Maharaj.
Come then, people are waiting, and you both mother and daughter listen here and understand now, all the guests invited are reputed Rajas and Maharajas, and if their self respect is insulted even a little bit, then there is nobody else worse than me. They all leave the room, Jaichand leads the way out, mother and Sanyo behind him. After taking few steps, Jaichand stops and turns around, he reaches forward and wipes off the tears on mother's face. On your face should be a smile not tears, I don't want any disorder or confusion in front of everyone in the ‘darbar’, you understand?
Jaichand pulls Sanyo away by her arms into the 'darbar'.
Prithvi waits for Sanyo to come.

Chand and Arjun have already collapsed, Prithvi is the last man left of the trio fighting Jaichand's entire army.
Prithvi is growing weary of fighting on his own for a long time, fighting most of Jaichand's troops, a one man show, using two swords at the same time. He has eliminated all of them.
Another batch of Jaichand's troops have come and surround Prithvi, they get ready to attack him. Prithvi can barely manage to stand up, he is completely exhausted. The troops thrash him with the swords on his back and around his body.

Sanyo still looks at the idol with hope.

Prithvi cannot fight the new troops surrounding him, all alone anymore he is exhausted.

Sanyo looks and prays to the Shiva idol.

Prithvi drops down on his knees, just manages to fight in that position. He doesn't want to give up.
Jaichand is pleased and grins as he can see that Prithvi is slowly fading away. He laughs at him.
Prithvi puts all his strength that is left in his body to stay alive. He is real tired now.

Sanyo still prays in the palace.

Jaichand anticipates victory he looks at Prithvi and smiles. You made a big mistake in dealing with us Prithvi! A very big mistake! He points at him.
Prithvi is unable to stay in an upright position. He uses the sword in his hand to give himself support to stand, he staggers to stay up, but no use he finally falls down to the ground.

Sanyogita cries in front of the idol in hopes Prithvi will be saved. The bell sways to and fro.

Prithvi is on the ground totally exhausted, many of Jaichand’s troops come near to him ready to take orders from their King, what to do next.
Jaichand is laughing at Prithvi now, because he thinks Prithvi is doomed.
The troops stand near the fallen Prithvi and laugh at him because they all finally succeeded in overtaking him.
Prithvi lays helpless on the ground he sees them laugh at him. He is so tired and wounded that he cannot get up to save himself anymore, his friends too are also down.
The troops finish laughing and raise their swords for the final.

Sanyo chants mantras in hopes to save Prithvi.

Prithvi is down but conscious, he looks at them.
Arghhh! Jaichand's troops are just about to slay Prithvi.
Prithvi looks in horror at them, they come closer to surround him, and he expects his last.
Many of Jaichand’s troops aim their swords ready to plunge it in Prithvi's body at the same time, but suddenly arrows hit them and they are all killed, instead. Prithvi is saved from Jaichand's troops momentarily.
Prithvi still looks at them in confused state of mind, they have all dropped their swords suddenly and shake with the arrows pinned in their backs. One by one the troops near Prithvi collapse down to the ground. The situation has been reversed Prithvi watches them all fall in surprise, he thought it was his end.
Jaichand is also shocked of the sudden change in the situation.
More arrows pierce the other troops.
It’s Pundir, he has come with the army he runs down the hill. Prithvi’s army continues to fire arrows.
Jaichand looks around to see what has happened.
Prithvi is relieved to see his buddy, he has finally come after such a long time. He has saved Prithvi's life, Prithvi takes a deep breath.

Sanyo still is worried about the situation she continues to pray.

Pundir races in Prithvi’s direction.
Prithvi is safe now, he watches his army come to save and protect him and his buddies. He closes his eyes with relief. The army of Dhilli go directly to attack Jaichand's forces, they chase after them. Pundir makes his way to fight.
Jaichand watches his troops fight, he waits there on the hill and does nothing himself.
Pundir needs to get to Prithvi. He has to fight some troops, he kills them, then some more attack him.
Jaichand can see now he is outnumbered by the Dhilli troops.
Prithvi gains his strength back psychologically, he is happy, and thinks of getting up.

Prayers continue in the palace, Sanyo’s eyes are closed in chants.

Prithvi can see now that his side is on the verge to win he makes efforts to get up.

Roopali comes back into Sanyo's room she calls Rajkumari Sanyogita! Sanyo opens her eyes. Roopali runs to her and Sanyo gets up to learn of the developments. Roopali says, Maharaj Prithvi's army has finally arrived.
Sanyo is overwhelmed and looks back at the idol to thank God, she folds her palms and cries with relief.

Prithvi is standing and watches his army drive Jaichand's forces away, up the hill. Prithvi yells, where are you running! If you have courage fight with me!
Jaichand is annoyed, he scolds at his troops where are you running all! He can see the Dhilli army driving his troops away. Fight them he shouts!

Arjun has gotten up Chand makes efforts to get up too. Prithvi can barely speak he faces Jaichand once again, that’s good, you also run away like them Maharaj Jaichand! Let it not be, that I cannot get your blessings on the day of swayamwar. RUN AWAY FROM HERE! Prithvi shouts at the top of his lungs.
Jaichand responds, he points his sword at Prithvi, he still has no shame and says on the swayamwar day even if I see you near the palace, I will colour my sword with your blood and sit in my palace in peace understand me Prithvi! Jaichand rides away on his horse like a coward.
