What could this clue mean, Yamuna? Prithvi says Devigaum is near by this river.
Looks like their next target is Devigaum that area comes in my kingdom. Let them do what they want, Prithvi exclaims,they will never survive me .

Due to the swayamwara and that old tantric lady's request, Sanyo requests her father Jaichand to allow her to go for the 'yathra' and take along the kids from the Gurukul. She says there won't be enough time to go afterwards I will be busy with
the swayamwara. It is essential that I go again to the temple. Sanyo wasn't sure that Jaichand would agree to this but finally he does.
Chachaji is secretly listening to the conversation his motives have not changed.
Once again this is a wonderful opportunity for him to strike again as usual, so he can eliminate the children, as well as Sanyo.
He is determined to take Jaichand's throne.
Chachaji pretends to be worried and requests Jaichand that he must accompany Sanyo to the temple, somebody elder should be there to make the journey safe. Jaichand agrees for the safety of the kids and Sanyogita.

The four head for Devigaum, during the journey they do not encounter any bad circumstances.
By chance it is a special day , its the day of the Mother Goddess, they greet the pilgrims going in the same direction. The pilgrims have been fasting and had no water to drink while they walked to the temple far away on the hill.
The pilgrims want to assure prosperity and better yields of the seasons crop so they make this journey to the Goddess.
Prithvi is waiting for some kind of calamity, so far he sights nothing what are sultans men up to now?
They have almost reached their destination, and only have to make it across the bridge. Prithvi is aware of danger and it is essential that he accompanies the pilgrims, so he, Pundir, Chander, and Arjun follow them.
Everybody crosses the bridge safely Prithvi is the last to cross. He is unaware that Ghori's men are hidden and have finished cutting the bridge,
as it is made from ropes.
Being the last man to cross the rope bridge it suddenly collapses and Prithvi falls, it almost looks the end of him, Pundir, Arjun and Chander try to reach forward to assist as they see the falling king.
As usual Prithvi takes a grip in the nick of time and pulls himself upward using the bamboo of the collapsed bridge to climb up to safety at the edge of the cliff.
Prithvi realises, so this was their yojna!

At the tent Ghori is playing chess with his chief.
He discusses his moves like he was playing the war. I have not even started my first move now i will take a real move.
Ghori's men are at large they have changed their disguises to look like one of Prithvi's guards .
They kill the real guards back at the palace to get entry into the weapons storehouse.
They loot the swords and other weapons. One of them exclaims, 'if our Sultan was here he would say, Prithvi's weakness is in his heart and his people ,and we have used your weak points to get you.'

Much time has passed they are all blocked at the other end of the bridge surrounded by a valley, and have no means of getting back home, as the bridge has collapsed and was the only means to get to the other side. The people are all suffering from lack of food and water, when and how will they cross back and get home. They are praying to Prithvi to find a solution.
Prithvi says it is his duty to protect the public(praja) even sacrifice himself to save them under any circumstances.
We have to make our own road.
Prithvi tries an idea he goes for the ropes and tries to yank the other side,
he is almost successful but it collapses again.
One boy sees the efforts of Prithvi and exclaims don't worry I am not thirsty, his parents carry him away.

Ghori's troops are seen coming by horse at a distance at the other side of the bridge, so far their plan has been successful as they see the helpless Prithviraj.
Now what will you do Prithvi? save them or save yourself we have all your arsenal!
