Prithvi takes his spear and races to find his two buddies, he shouts Pundir! Chand follows and shouts Arjun! Pundir! Arjun!
Both of them search elsewhere through the jungle, Arjun! Arjun, they both shout together. Chand spots a piece of garment on the ground and lifts it, while Prithvi searches nearby.
Chand calls to Prithvi, and he comes to see what it is, this is of Pundir Chand tells him.
Prithvi takes it in his hand and looks at it in shock, Pundir he whispers.
What will we do now? We are not even getting any sound from them, Chand is worried.
Prithvi is starting to get worried now by Chand’s comment, he shouts Pundir, Arjun very loudly but no use. Prithvi tells Chand to go in this direction, I will go in the other. They both rush carrying their spears along. The tiger observes them. Prithvi has reached a spot and shouts Pundir, Arjun again, he runs ahead. Pundir! He looks beyond the canopy of the trees. The tiger is nearby and has spotted Prithvi.
Likewise Chand also shouts Pundir, Arjun!
Pundir! Prithvi shouts, he runs around but still hasn’t found them, the tiger eyes Prithvi. The tiger may make a move.
Chand looks around in the forest, he shouts Pundir!
Prithvi continuously runs and calls Arjun! He doesn’t notice a branch in the way, it gets caught in his legs and he falls down on the ground.

Far away, Sanyo in her tents gets up from sleep and shouts Prithvi’s name loudly. She gets out of her bed and walks out of the tent to the entrance area.
Her father has also woken up from her loud scream.
Sanyo looks beyond and thinks Prithvi, where are you, are you okay? She can feel like there is something wrong.
Jaichand has come out of his tent and walked over to Sanyo’s tent and asks her outside, what is it Sanyo? Why have you screamed so loud, is your health okay?
No, Sanyo says softly, nothing can happen to my Prithvi. I will not allow anything to happen to him, she is worried, Prithvi, she says his name and leaves her tent.
Jaichand is annoyed and doesn’t understand her, where are you going, stop! Sanyogita! Jaichand tries to stop her from going. Ahead is dense jungle! There is danger there, her father warns. She doesn’t listen and walks ahead.
Jaichand quickly goes inside her tent and retrieves a shawl, he runs after her to stop her. He looks here and there in the forest, Sanyo where are you! He shouts in the dark night. She has disappeared.
Sanyo walks alone through the night.
Jaichand searches for her, Sanyogita!.. Sanyogita! Where are you! Jaichand turns his head and finally spots her in a Shiva temple ahead, she stands at its entrance near the steps. Jaichand quickly runs to her not wasting any time.

Prithvi shouts, Pundir, Arjun, he still has not found them, instead he meets up with Chand.
Chand is panting with loss of breath from running around. He catches his breath and tells Prithvi, I have searched everywhere, not able to find any clues of them at all. What will we do now Prithvi? From where will we find them? Chand is concerned to find them. And if something happens to them, then?
No Chand, nothing can happen to them, we will definitely locate them, you come with me, Prithvi tells Chand. Arjun! Pundir, he calls them loudly. They both walk ahead and Prithvi spots another piece of garment caught on a tree. He removes it and looks at it, this belongs to Arjun.
Chand is so upset and takes it in his hand, Arjun?
Prithvi can’t take it anymore and shouts, Arjun! Pundir! {Maybe they still have a chance to reach to them, but nothing so far.} Prithvi looks at Chand’s face, he is taking it all very badly. Chand don’t lose hope, this could mean they must be here somewhere, Prithvi tries to comfort his buddy. Chand’s expression is of grief, Prithvi still has hope he tells his buddy, come let’s go! They both run fast into the jungle, Pundir! Arjun! Pundir! Arjun! They run till they both finally spot Arjun and Pundir dead or unconscious on the ground, they stand stunned looking at them. They cannot believe their eyes, both of their faces and necks have been clawed up, blood drips down from their wounds. They lay still no movement from them. Prithvi and Chand quickly kneel down and let go of their weapons. Prithvi takes Pundir and Chand takes Arjun in their laps respectively to revive them, in hopes they are still alive. Prithvi calls Arjun!
Chand tries to wake Arjun up, he shakes him vigorously and calls Arjun’s name. Wake up Arjun, wake up!
Prithvi also shakes Pundir and calls Arjun’s name.
Chand also calls Pundir. Both try frantically to revive their Buddies. Looks like we have taken too much time to get here Prithvi, Chand weeps holding Arjun in his lap.
Prithvi cannot accept the fact, he shakes his head disapprovingly, this cannot be. Pundir! Arjun! Arjun! Prithvi shouts and looks at them both. Prithvi looks at Pundir, open your eyes, look at me, Prithvi then looks at Arjun. Arjun! Pundir!
Chand whimpers, Arjun.
Prithvi shouts Pundir! He is so upset and cries, cuddling closer to his buddy. Pundir come out of this, both of you open your eyes! Prithvi hugs his friend tightly and whimpers open the eyes of my friends, (in prayer). Prithvi sobs bitterly he cannot bear that this could be the last of his friends.
Prithvi quiets down a bit , he feels some movement in Pundir. Pundir makes efforts to open his eyes. Prithvi smiles at Arjun, he too is reviving.
Chand exclaims Arjun! Both are relieved and smile, both hug their buddies dearly, they are alive!
Prithvi is serious once again, he strictly orders Chand to take both Arjun and Pundir away to the village, go fast. If they are not treated in time……
I cannot leave you alone in the mouth of death Prithvi, cries Chand, he doesn’t want to go.
Chand you just don’t worry about me, take them away fast, Prithvi orders.
No Prithvi Chand is correct, says Arjun, who has come back to full consciousness, we cannot go and leave you alone, he tries very hard to pronounce the words he can barely speak properly.
Pundir is also listening to them he says, I agree also, we will wait here Prithvi,… You take Chand and go ahead.
Prithvi hugs Pundir, no Pundir, you both don’t worry about me. Chand you take them out of here now! Go fast, he orders. Prithvi lays Pundir down gently on the ground and takes his weapons fast and runs into the deep jungle.
Stop Prithvi, listen to me! Chand requests.
Pundir and Arjun try to reach for him, they each call Prithvi! Prithvi! They are helpless, they lie on the ground and can’t do anything, it’s too late Prithvi is already gone.

Sanyo climbs the steps of the temple and enters inside. Jaichand looks at her and follows her. Sanyo folds her hands in front of the Shiva idol and prays, please protect my Prithvi God. Don’t let anything happen to him.
Today god will not even listen to your prayers, Jaichand interrupts. The tigers must have already finished Prithvi off. He will not come here to search for you, it would be good if you forgot him.
Sanyo is disturbed by her father, her attention is diverted on the man sitting and putting his hand in the fire while the pandit performs the “hom”, in the temple. She walks over to the spot where the “hom” is taking place. Panditji what is this man doing here? Why does he repeatedly put his hand in the fire?
He is trying to make God “prasanna”.
By doing this how will God be “prasanna”?
This is the belief here, if anybody puts the ‘tilak’ of ash from the burning flames on the deity, the deity will become “prasanna” and bless the devotee so that all his desires will come true.
Sanyo watches the man do the ritual by putting his hand repeatedly in the “hom” fire, then she looks at her father. We will see today who will win father, my prayers or your ego. The man has finished the ritual and gets up. Sanyo sits in his place in front of the “hom” next to the pandit.
The pandit warns her that this is not an easy task to do, daughter.
I know, but my prayers are also not that easy to fulfill, it is the question of win, of my other half.

Prithvi races into the dense jungle, he reaches the same place where he found his buddies and kneels down. The tiger is nearby, Prithvi removes his sword from its case and gets ready to defend himself. Prithvi then rushes towards another tree few feet ahead and keeps vigilance. The tiger can attack any moment. Prithvi then moves to an open area he hears the tiger roaring, he turns his head to see behind, nothing is there. Prithvi walks again few feet ahead in the direction of the sounds his lance held upward ready to strike. He looks around carefully and runs some more his “dhoti” gets caught into something.
Prithvi is careful now and quickly hacks his sword on the obstacle that’s pulling his garment. But Prithvi quickly realizes it’s only a tree branch and pulls his clothes away with his hands. Now the tiger sound is heard more distinctly he continues to search for the beast.

Sanyo is seated in front of the ”hom” she puts her hand right into the fire.
Stop! Her father is watching her, your hand will burn!
Sanyo doesn’t listen to him, what kind of problem do you have with that, you hate me anyways?
Jaichand yells, Sanyo! He runs to her and pushes her hand away from the fire, stop! What is this childishness?
Sanyo tries to set herself free from his grasp, she yanks her arm free, ahhhh!
The pandit is annoyed, he tells him to stop.
Sanyo is free to keep her hands in the hot “homa” now. Tears fall from her eyes and she removes some hot ash out in her fist while her father watches her. Sanyo looks at her father, he moves away and she gets up. She then shows the ash in her palms to her father, my prayer or your ego she says to him, (her challenge who will succeed?). Sanyo walks over to the Shiva idol and pours the ash from her palms the way the pandit had told earlier.
The pandit walks over to her, your wishes will definitely be fulfilled my daughter. But who is that you have burnt your hand for?
There is somebody, what it is I burnt my hand? If required I could burn my whole self for him.
But for whom is it for? Who is he?

Prithvi is squatted down and waits patiently in the darkness of the night. Prithvi hears noises, sounds like the tiger. He turns his head, he comes face to face with the tiger. Prithvi gets up swiftly and runs to safety, he comes to a massive trap designed to kill the tiger. Prithvi ducks down with his sword ready in hand, he looks at the ropes tied to the trap. Prithvi remembers when he asked Mukhiyaji about what they were making back at Nandangaon.
“We are manufacturing a tiger trap for you, just the same as we do for our own people who give up their lives, for the purpose of keeping safe from the tiger. And who knows in this dense jungle how many other traps are fixed and their location.”
“Once the leg of the tiger falls into the trap, a person is supposed to cut all the ropes attached to it and all the traps should hit the tiger, but the person who cuts the rope will not be able to survive it.”
Prithvi is sure today all the ropes will definitely be cut. The tiger seems to be nearing, Prithvi holds the sword high ready for the beast he advances slowly and carefully. The tiger is coming and Prithvi knows it he leads the tiger in the direction of the trap. The tiger follows Prithvi just as he wants it to. Prithvi runs to an area and stops, he waits for the tiger to reach him. Prithvi then quickly runs more ahead as fast as he can. Unfortunately Prithvi trips and falls to the ground, he quickly gets up and runs ahead more. The tiger has entered into the area of the trap. Prithvi lunges forward onto the ground and cuts the rope with his arms outstretched, thus avoiding himself getting caught in the trap. The trap is set loose and the sharp prongs cuts into the tiger, missing Prithvi very closely. Prithvi lies still, he can see the tiger is dead. He gets up and another tiger pursues him, Prithvi cuts another rope with his arms outstretched again and a huge net falls on top of the tiger. Prithvi than forces his sword into the tiger and kills it. A third tiger is also present he kills it too. Prithvi has killed 3 tigers so far. Prithvi has succeeded and finished the task.

Prithvi has returned to Nandangaon village he is saluted and everybody cheers Prithviraj Chauhan Ki Jai!

Prithviraj Chauhan Ki Jai! He is carried on shoulders by the folks in a procession everybody marches behind him. Prithvi has a big smile on his face, he has his sword raised high. Pundir and Chand rush out of their quarters to see their buddy, they grin as Prithvi has returned safely accomplishing his mission. Arjun also comes out to see. Prithvi gets down and greets his buddies, he hugs Pundir and smiles, then walks over to Arjun and takes a big hug from him too since they both have recovered. Chand taps Prithvi’s back.
Mukhiya comes out in the street and is thrilled to see Prithvi and he has finished the important job too. Prithvi turns and looks at him. Mukhiya does ‘namaskar’ as respect and tells Maharaj what you have done for us, will not be forgotten our entire lives. You have given us folks a new life Maharaj, Mukhiya is very grateful to Prithvi.
Prithvi is silent he turns away from Mukhiya and looks at his friends again and walks over to Arjun and says, I was afraid for both of you he looks at Pundir too.
Arjun is modest, with your presence, how can anything happen to us Prithvi, admits Arjun. Pundir happily nods positively with that comment.
The little boy standing nearby cheers with all the folks, Maharaj Prithviraj Chauhan Ki Jai!

Prithvi sees his little buddy and holds him close, from now on in your village there will be no danger to the children or elderly at all. You will live a long life, and do lots of things in your life.
The boy nods and smiles.
The mother of the little boy who Prithvi saved earlier, walks over to Prithvi, you are God-like for us Maharaj.
No, says Prithvi, this has happened because of your trust and prayers.
May God give you long life, she blesses Prithviraj. May all your aspirations come true.

All villagers and folks celebrate victory and dance around the four, Prithvi is pleased, his friends smile.

Prithvi and friends come outside they have freshened up and bathed, they are dressed in new garments, they have taken their meals too.
Pundir informs and discusses, we don’t have time Prithvi, Jaichand and his men must be relaxing through the night. And if we leave now we can use this opportunity to reach to them soon by morning time.
Prithvi is concerned for his buddy’s health, but you people are seriously injured, how can we travel ahead so easily, at this time?
Arjun exaggerates, no Prithvi we are absolutely fine, you just don’t worry about us. And if we don’t move from here in time these people will advance ahead and beyond, why do you want this to happen.
Prithvi finally agrees and says okay, let’s go. The four continue their journey to seek Sanyo.

Sanyo has finished her prayer and ritual in the Shiva temple. Jaichand stands silent watching her with tears in his eyes. Sanyo turns to face him.
Jaichand questions her, if you are finished making your wishes and prayers can we proceed?
Where do you want to go?
We are going to leave immediately to meet the ‘adivasis’.
What, in the night? But,.. But you were supposed to leave for that destination in the morning, why is it necessary for us to leave in the night so early? In the night I wanted to sit and complete the ‘puja’, Sanyo’s hopes are spoiled.
Jaichand is strict and points at her, enough of your “puja” for Prithvi’s protection. Before you start your new activities, I will take you so far away from Prithvi’s reach. So far that even his shadow will not be able to reach there, let’s go. Get ready to go, NOW! Jaichand yells he is furious.
Sanyo is startled by his loud voice and is shocked that she will have to leave the place early before Prithvi can reach to her, her father has threatened to take her very far away.
