Jaichand has just supposedly sliced Prithvi’s neck from behind him. The man turns around and faces him, Jaichand finds out this is not Prithvi but somebody else wearing Prithvi’s armor. He is shocked and watches the troop fall dead on the ground. He then rushes to Pundir also and sees his face too, it’s not Pundir either, it’s somebody else wearing his armor also. Jaichand pushes him away, he is so furious he yells Prithviraj Chauhan!
Pundir and Prithvi make a getaway and run away as fast as they can, they have exchanged their garments with the troops.
Meanwhile Jaichand grhhhhs! He cannot bear he was outsmarted so easily.
Chand, Arjun and Sanyo walk into the deep forest it is night. Simultaneously Pundir and Prithvi search for them.
The 3 walk on, while Prithvi and Pundir run till they come to a place and halt, they both look around. Prithvi points in a direction, we will go over there. Arjun had informed us to meet at a certain tree, come on. They both rush to that place. They run a distance till they get there, and find only dead Dhilli troops lying on the ground everywhere. They search among the dead for Chand, Arjun and Sanyo. Prithvi says, Sanyo?
Pundir checks more dead people one by one. Prithvi recognizes Sanyo’s veil that lies on the ground and picks it up. He is worried, Sanyo?
Pundir sees it too and shouts Arjun! His name echoes through the night.
Prithvi individually checks each and every dead troop’s face himself, he is losing patience.
Pundir shouts Chand’s name also, the voice echoes too. He says they are not here. They both see carefully.
Then where could they have gone?
Chand, Arjun and Sanyo are safe so far, they continue their walk.
Pundir says, he is absolutely sure that they had escaped from here.
This late at night? In this deep jungle? Prithvi is concerned.
Jaichand and his army search for them all. Jaichand says they must have come here to search for Sanyo! Find them! Fast! Find them!
The 3 walk on nonstop.
Prithvi says before Jaichand is able to get to them we must find them first. Come on, they both go to search for Sanyo and the 2 buddies.
Jaichand and army come to the very same area where Pundir and Prithvi were moments before. They see the dead bodies. Jaichand examines the place and says, there is not one clue of Prithvi here, not even Sanyo’s! There’s not even any clue of my Commander. Where have they all run to? Jaichand is angry because he could not find them, he orders his troops to come and they all leave to search for them elsewhere.
Sanyo, Chand and Arjun walk on, while Jaichand and his troops search for them following the same path they follow. The 3 walk at slow pace through the night while the troops run and hurry fast in order to catch up with them.
Prithvi and Pundir run fast looking for the 3, they pause to catch their breath for few seconds. They run some more and stop. Prithvi looks around he doesn’t know where to search for them, he regrets and thinks I should not have left Sanyo like this. Prithvi looks at the veil he still carries with him. Can’t figure out where she went and how she might be.
Chand, Arjun and Sanyo walk on. Sanyo is worried about Prithvi, how he must be? May God protect him, protect my Prithvi.
Arjun says, faster we are reaching the outskirts of Kannauj.
But what about Prithvi? What kind of situation might he be in? Where did he go?
Prithvi and Pundir are still safe searching for them.
Jaichand and his army wait in the forest, they have found the Commander. Jaichand questions him and complains, how did you allow the 3 of them to disappear from your grasp in the first place like that?
The Commander says, where did they disappear from my grasp Maharaj? They are only moving in the dense jungle, going around and around in circles.
Then before Prithvi finds them, you must bring the 3 of them in front of me.
Yes Maharaj, the commander bows down.
The sun is rising, morning has come. Chand, Arjun and Sanyo were walking all night to safety, they still walk on further. They reach some trees but they have to stop because they are confronted by none other than Jaichand and his army.
Jaichand is pleased he finally found them.
Sanyo is distressed and afraid of her father.
What did you think Sanyogita? That you both could just defy my pride and easily run from all of it?
You already know that I never wanted to insult you father.
Don’t call me father! Jaichand raises his sword up high.
You were already dead to me, when you ran away right in front of me with Prithvi from my palace Sanyogita! Now the only thing left is to cremate you on the funeral pyre.
Chand, Arjun and Sanyo tolerate the harsh words of Jaichand, they look at him with disgust. Sanyo starts to cry.
No, no, no Sanyogita! Save your tears for Prithvi’s death, it will be of more use that time.
No! If you want to get to Prithvi, you will first have to walk over our corpses, answers Sanyo back to him in the same tone.
That’s what I have come for!!!!!!!!!
The 3 are shocked by his words. Arjun whispers allow them all to divert their interest on me, you take
sister-in-law to the secret cave. I will find Prithvi and bring him there too, okay?
No says Chand softly, I cannot leave you here and go Arjun.
By embracing Prithvi you have wiped Kannauj’s name into black darkness. And the only appropriate punishment for it is death!
This is not a time to argue Chand, whispers Arjun. The moment I gesture, you take sister-in-law with you and go.
This punishment I will award right now! Jaichand shrieks and raises his sword to strike Sanyo, he runs towards her, and she closes her eyes. Arjun blocks him with his sword to save her. Arjun pushes Jaichand behind some lengths. The Kannauj troops intervene and cut through Arjun’s arm, he shouts in pain, he is hurt badly and can barely stand everybody watches. Arjun falls on his knees.
Sanyo screams Arjun!
Chand tells him to take care!
Jaichand orders his troops to kill him.
Arjun pleads to Chand take sister-in-law, …take sister-in-law with you and go! It doesn’t matter if I need to save your life, its okay to sacrifice mine, no problem go! Go fast!
No, says Sanyo if we go from here, we will only go together.
No Queen, Arjun is telling correctly, you are Dhilli’s pride, and protecting you is our main duty. Chand says, quickly lets go from here to Sanyo, he takes her hand and they both run away.
Jaichand orders follow them, none of them should be allowed to go and survive, go!
Arjun intervenes, he stands up straight he raises his sword in the air preventing them to follow them behind. “Kabardar” anyone of you follow them! Arjun warns them all. If you want to get Dhilli’s Queen, you will have to pass through my dead corpse first. If you have courage to get me then come, I will make corpses out of you one by one.
Okay then, we will strike you down first answers Jaichand. Attack him! Two troops attack Arjun with swords. Arjun kneels down and pins both of their swords in the air and pushes them back so hard they fall behind.
Jaichand yells and orders his troops to make his situation so bad that nobody will want to trick Jaichand again.
Arjun has to fight 3 troops at the same time with one sword only. He finishes them off one by one. He kicks one down, but more of them surround him. One troop cuts him from behind, he is hurt badly and in severe pain he cannot even stand he drops his sword down and lands on his knees. Arjun falls on the ground and takes Prithvi’s name, he tries to get up but goes into unconsciousness.
Prithvi and Pundir are making desperate efforts in trying to find Arjun, Chand and Sanyo badly. They run and run from place to place. Prithvi and Arjun stop to catch their breaths in the hot sun, they look around to see where they might have gone too. Again they run a distance, Prithvi looks at the veil on his arm which he carries with him still.
Pundir looks around here and there to see maybe they are nearby. Pundir sees Prithvi’s anxiety and asks him what happened.
I feel like that somebody of my own is in trouble.
Don’t worry Prithvi, we are close to reaching them any moment now, don’t be troubled by that Prithvi, everything will be all right. Arjun and Chand are ready to give up their lives, but they will not allow anything to happen to Maharani Sanyogita.
Prithvi says you forgot Pundir, you people are just as equally important to me as Sanyo is. I cannot live without Sanyo nor can I live without you people, he tries to stop himself from crying.
Don’t worry about it Prithvi, Pundir consoles him and puts his hands on his shoulders saying nothing will happen to anybody.
Arjun is still lying motionless on the ground, the Kannauj troops surround him and watch.
Pundir and Prithvi carry on in the search for the rest, they do not know what condition Arjun is facing.
The commander jubilates one hand of Prithvi has been cut.
Jaichand shouts, I don’t want only one, but want all corpses of Prithvi’s comrades! Everybody go and spread out around in the entire jungle and chop them all dead one by one into many pieces! Go! They all leave, even Jaichand walks on top of Arjun’s body while going.
Arjun is left all alone unconscious or dead maybe. Nobody there to attend to him, nobody there to check him or come to his assistance or take him to the vaid.
Chand and Sanyo continue their journey. Sanyo is worn out and tired, enough I cannot go further she tells Chand.
Some two more steps we have almost reached the place. Chand can see the cave, he points at the cave, see it over there he shows her the direction.
But I cannot see any cave over there.
That’s the special thing about this cave says Chand, it is enclosed by trees and greenery all over it, in 4 directions. Just come he requests her politely. They both walk a distance, but Sanyo loses her balance and falls down on the ground. Chand helps her get up and guides her to the direction of the cave.
Sanyo and Chand have finally reached the cave concealed by shrubs and trees. They both go inside it and walk a distance, it is a huge cave. Sanyo walks up to a big rock and goes and sits on it to rest. Chand looks around and checks the place. Sanyo starts to cry bitterly.
Chand confides and asks her what happened, are you okay?
Because of me you all have landed into so much trouble, it’s all because of me. I don’t know, I just don’t know what condition Arjun will be in.
You just don’t worry, Arjun will bring Prithvi fast and reach here soon, and everything will be alright. Trust me.
Sanyo is silent and nods.
Prithvi and Pundir run as fast as they can in search of their buddies. Prithvi sees Kannauj troops ahead and pulls Pundir to stop, they move behind some trees to hide from them. The Kannauj troops are on vigilance. These are Jaichand’s troops says Prithvi. They must know where Sanyo and Arjun are.
The troops have spotted them both.
Prithvi disappears somewhere else while Pundir is left alone. The troops gang up on Pundir to attack.
Prithvi comes out from behind them and corners one troop with his sword, where is Maharani Sanyogita? Talk, tell me or I will separate your neck from your head.
If we told you anyways Maharaj Jaichand will kill us, says the troop.
And if you don’t tell me now, I will kill you before does.
Pundir is free.
The troop says, that chance will never arise and tries to cut Prithvi with his sword. Prithvi ducks down, he missed him. The fight is on between Prithvi and Pundir versus Kannauj troops. Prithvi and Pundir finish them all off in no time. Nobody is left to fight they were only a few, Prithvi and Pundir leave to search for the rest in the forest. They both walk in a path.
Side by side Jaichand and his troops are coming in the same direction from another path. Both of their paths meet at the same place. They will meet each other any moment.
