Its morning the night after the wedding, it was a very big day everybody is tired. Arjun insists that he will relax for the day and eat. Prithvi is strict there is no time to rest, must continue and get on with the work.
Prithvi orders the 3 to check all civilians, make sure they are not in harms way. Each and every person must be protected and taken care of. Make sure even the elderly are well taken care of.
Prithvi continues that the wealth/treasury and secret exits and entrances of the palaces will be taken care of by me.
Arjun wants to take the responsibilities for the treasury and its transportation, he insists he is the reliable one to do it. Prithvi finally agrees to Arjun and hands the responsibilities to him instead of giving it to somebody else like Chand.
Arjun's maternal uncle mamaji is also a part of Prithvi's force, he comes and greets Arjun and the gang. Arjun's uncle is on duty but he seems to be suspicious by his actions.

Sanyo made her journey back to Kannauj after the wedding. She informs her father with the excuse that Mohini wasn’t present when she returned so she came alone with Vaishalli.
Mohini is discussing with Jaichand, she defends that she saw her in Dilli with her own very eyes.
Jaichand ignores and tells her she is relieved of her duty she can go now. You didn't even do the work properly anyways.
He insists she get out.
What did I do? Mohini answers back.

At Mamaji’s house, Mamaji discusses with this wife Shakuntala. He is bitter that he never got a pay hike or promotion for his loyalty of many years and the duties he performed in protecting the kingdoms of Ajmer and Dilli. He explains to her he doesn't want to continue as an employee of Prithviraj Chauhan anymore.
Secretly mamaji negotiates with Ghori's troops who have come for a secret discussion.
They remind him that he is nothing but an ordinary manthri of the kingdom who never got a promotion even after all his work for many years. Ghori’s troops offer mamaji lots of jewelery, and wealth. The task they have for him is to put a fight between Arjun your own nephew and Prithviraj the King that’s all.
Mamaji agrees to the deal, he replies to them that to keep the goods ready for him as the work will be over in no time. Mamaji is inevitably sold off to his own enemies due to greed who will later kill him.
Arjun is busy he has taken the plans and maps down, he is in the basement. Mamaji is already engaged in his new job. Mamaji is aware of the responsibilities Prithviraj has given to his nephew, he uses the opportunity now as a catalyst. Mamaji orders somebody to send Arjun some drink it has some sleeping medicine in it.
The servant hands the cup to Arjun in the basement. Its sarbath the servant tells him. Arjun is exhausted and thirsty anyways, he is very happy to drink it, he needed it very much, but it doesn't come to his mind that it’s tainted.
Moments later, as he goes through the maps on the table, Arjun falls flat with his head down while sitting on the chair. Mamaji is waiting nearby patiently and comes forward setting all the maps a light with his torch hence burning the very important batch of maps spanning the palaces. Arjun is in
semi-consciousness and wakes up after seeing the fire but its too late, most of the documents are gone. He yells fire! Fire! He also tries to stop the fire but its too late.
Arjun is in trouble he takes the burnt parchment to his King.
Prithvi asks him, what happened how did this burn like this?
I was working....and I don't know ...and the fire started.
I had already warned you, if you were so tired then why did you take this responsibility in the first place, Prithvi is annoyed.
Er, the maps… don't worry I will make new ones to replace them.
They were important documents, tells Prithvi
I will never commit a mistake like this again Arjun promises his friend.
Yes, they can be reproduced again why not? But had it been the documents were irreplaceable what would you have done about it? Don't worry we will get it done again. Prithvi assures that he will go to Ajmer and get it drawn all over again.
But this time I will tell Chand to do the rest of the work.
Arjun intervenes to his master that he will protect the treasury and the job should go to him only.
Prithvi reminds him that the wealth be properly transported simultaneously protected at the same time.
You can trust me assures Arjun he insists that he will do the job right.
Arjun sets out for the duty as Prithvi is convinced he will do it right this time.

Sanyo looks at her hand it is the henna from the night before. She is so happy that nobody found out she had attended Pratha's wedding .She discusses the previous day with Vaishalli.
Jaichand has been in her room for quite a while now listening to the whole story.
Sanyo finally sees her father, Jaichand is very angry now. Mohini already saw you both at Dilli. I knew all the time. Just was waiting for the opportunity to hear that from your own mouth Sanyogita! You lied to me, your very own father! I love you more than my own life! Tell me Sanyogita answer me, you already knew that nobody here would be attending the marriage, in spite of my warnings why did you go there why! How dare you trick me and go there like that! What is your relation to Prithviraj!
Sanyogita is listening the whole time to his loud voice she is hesitant to answer her angry father but anyways answers that she loves him very much and he loves me too!
What did you say!
I love Prithviraj!
Jaichand lifts his hands and slaps her face. From today onwards you will never leave the room nor will you leave the palace ,Jaichand is furious.

Arjun takes the goods by carriage he has guards with him its night time. No sooner as he is deep into the forest some tribals confront him, they have spears in their hands. The tribals start to kill the guards one by one. Arjun hits back at them, he kills many, but is outnumbered again by 5-6 more. They make attacks on him with the spears, he gets wounded all around his body in many places but is still alive, he falls down.
Next the attackers go for the saarthi, they kill him on the spot. All of the remaining tribals lift the chest full of jewels and wealth from the carriage and take it away as fast as they can. Arjun lies helpless as the thieves disappear.

In the morning Prithvi finds out what had happened. He is very angry and irritated. Prithvi tells Arjun again I told you not to take the responsibilities, see what you did now you have made a very heavy loss for me. If you really didn't want to the work in the first place then why take the job! I don't want you to do the work anymore! Prithvi tells Arjun. Chand is called to take care of the job henceforth and solve the problems .Arjun leaves.

Arjun is sad and disappointed, he sits alone. Mamaji knows everything and tries to console him, he also tells him you did what you could. Had Prithvi done the same job he too, would have had to face the same thing! Oh my God! See your wounds, how terrible.
Mamaji tries to break his nephew psychologically.
Prithvi has never acknowledged your help and work. He has never given you anything at all, has he? One would have resigned from this job by now.
Arjun goes back to Prithvi, I am sorry I have made a mistake and was very negligent. I have made a very big loss for you. I am not capable of this work anymore. Please release me from this job.
What Is this! Prithvi exclaims, I never said you were not capable of it, I was just angry at you that’s all.
Sorry I cannot work for you anymore. I will work very hard and replace the loss I have made to you, piece by piece. Arjun has lost his mind because of mamaji's words earlier.
What are you telling me! I don't care for the wealth lost! Prithvi assures him.
I know it’s not about the wealth, I am leaving, tells Arjun finally to Prithvi back.
Pundir tells Prithvi to let him go for now he will come back when the time is right.

Arjun is alone again he reminiscences the conversation with Prithvi.
