There is some confusion among the four and Prithvi is adamant that he will not leave the village folk alone, just to save his storehouses. The other 3 try to convince Prithvi to go, while the other two will look after the people,
they ask don't you trust us?
Still for Prithvi the 'Praja,' are more important, the King will not permit the people to die.
P, C and A, then say, see that's what the Sultan claims that you have your weaknesses.
'If that is the case you Pundir, Arjun, and Chander can all go,'says Prithvi in an irritant voice.

In the night Chachaji meets some tribals. He informs them to meet at the Purana Kandar when they set out for the yatra. The tribals have been hired to attack Sanyo.
Chachaji warns them to do it properly or he will eliminate them.
By taking Sanyo hostage they will blackmail Jaichand.

Prithvi looks for an idea,
he makes another attempt to throw the rope to the other side. After many attempts he finally succeeds in lassoing the other end, after that he crawls across the other end like a trapeze artist. While the other 3 hold onto the other end firmly, Prithvi restores the bridge as it originally was.
Everybody yells, 'Mhj. Prithviraj Chauhan Ki Jai.'

Immediately the village folks start to cross very slowly and carefully across he bridge. After some time the ropes start getting loose again. Still there are some people left to cross to the other side. Seeing this, Prithvi at once grabs the ropes and uses all his might to hold it from slipping forward and loosening the bridge again, blood comes out of his palms, Pundir, Chander, and Arjun follow suit. All the folks also help out in holding the bridge together like a tug-o-war, till the last man crosses through.
After accomplishing the tiring ordeal Prithvi now says he's ready to get the 'looteras', we will search for them in all directions
north-east-south-west. TILL HELL.

One of the village folk knowing the area very well, tells Prithvi that he knows a high mountain where they can get a good view from the top and can find out which direction the Ghori's men are going.
Meantime one of Ghori's spys are present listening, he finds out that they are safe. He goes to inform the others .
The Devigaum chief says he knows a shortcut where the 4 can use, to get to them faster.
The four get on their horses and starts heading in that direction to chase the invaders.

Sanyo and the children get on the 'rath' and head for their yathra to the temple. As they advance Chachaji wants them to use another path, Sanyo agrees. Chachaji prepares for Sanyos assault.
During the journey,
one of the children sees some beautiful flowers in the fields, making them want to halt and take a stroll there. Chachaji doesn't want to halt but they do it anyways. Sanyo says its okay to see the flowers and take rest.
Nearby the tribals are awaiting to attack.
They all rest until night fall, Chachaji wants to retreat to Kander for the night,
the same place where he has planned the attack.

As Prithvi, Chander, Pundir, and Arjun race forward they find a marriage procession, in it obviously are Ghori's men in disguise. Prithvi knows its a fake procession as the 'dhoola' is wearing a black dress. Prithvi says, 'grooms never wear black in marriage ceremonies.'
The four of them confront the the procession.
In the 'palki' sit some of the invaders, they know that Prithvi is present, one of them proclaims,
'let them follow us we will lead them to their deaths.'
