Sanyo looks terrified at the tiger, she fears for her life. But the tiger doesn't attack her and walks away peacefully. It surprisingly did not attack her at all. Sanyo is relieved, she closes her eyes with satisfaction. Suddenly a hand grabs her arms and drags her away, leave, leave me! Leave, leave me she shrieks. Sanyo is pulled through the forest, leave me! She comes to realize its only her father pulling her to safety she looks at him, why a sudden change of attitude.
Jaichand tells her to shhhhhh! No talk, absolutely quiet, he gestures with his pointer finger.
Sanyo is so upset she was just saved from the tiger and says father, father, she hugs him and weeps.
Jaichand softly replies, keep quiet, nothing will happen, he pats her softly. (Very odd, some time ago he wanted her dead). I have come now he pats her back gently keep silent, he comforts his daughter.
Sanyo calms down then she realizes it’s not what it really is, and pushes away from her father.
Jaichand also regains normalcy and goes back to his tyrant self. Jaichand orders his troops to come out of this area fast, he raises his hands and says we are just about to reach our destination. After crossing the jungle there is a village, once we reach there we will be out of danger let’s go! Jaichand pulls his daughter away, she is still tied up even after what had happened earlier. The troops march on with Jaichand and Sanyo in the lead.
Behind are Prithvi and gang and the Dhilli troops they keep guard in case of some kind of attack, their swords are raised upward. They are passing in the same territory where Sanyo passed earlier. The tiger roars and the birds tweet. The tiger has spotted them.
Prithvi is alerted he feels like someone is there present, he turns his head.
Pundir questions what is it?
Even Chand and Arjun are cautious.
Prithvi says he feels like somebody is following us.
Chand is angry who else can it be now? We have already bashed Jaichand's soldiers and have left them behind, long time back.
They continue walking. The tiger roars still more. The 4 get to an area and stumble upon dead bodies strewn helter-skelter everywhere on the ground. All four of them are shocked to see such a site. The tiger eyes them from behind some bush.
Prithvi says these soldiers have been victims of a tiger. Prithvi sees more dead troops on the ground. He warns his buddies that we must be very careful while walking ahead. They continue their journey through the dark dense jungle filled with tigers that could pounce on them any time. The tiger roars.
They walk a distance and stop, Prithvi can see something shimmering in the darkness, he kneels to pick it up. Prithvi looks at the ornament and recognizes it as Sanyo's once again.
(When Jaichand tugged at Sanyo her earring had fallen that time)
Prithvi stares at it.
Pundir asks him, what happened, he has his sword raised in the air.
Nothing replies Prithvi softly, he gets up and says lets go.
Chand orders all the soldiers to move ahead silently and carefully. This jungle seems to be filled with tigers, come on. They all advance ahead. A tiger or many tigers are watching them.
Jaichand and Sanyo and the entire military have finally reached to safety in one piece. They walk in the vacant streets of the village. They walk till they get to a Durga Temple. Jaichand raises his hand to halt, they all stop. He sees ahead and again gestures to go, as the path looks safe.
In the temple early morning "arthi" is taking place. One man present sees them and calls Mukhiyaji the village head.
The head of the village turns around to see what it is. All assembled at the temple lift and point their spears in Jaichand's direction.
The village head looks further and recognizes the people, Maharaj Jaichand? Welcome Maharaj come. The village head climbs down the steps to greet him, come he folds his hands, “namaskar", come Maharaj, welcome to Nandan village.
Jaichand acknowledges him, he says we are actually going north to the other side across Pandiv, we plan to rest here for some time before we travel ahead.
The village head says, this is blessing for us Maharaj, but how was it possible for you to come and survive the journey through the dangerous jungle of death? Even if a dove wanted to pass there it wouldn't be able too.
Jaichand admits that he is not afraid of death nor afraid of the tigers hiding in the jungle.
(What a bluff) Sanyo knows the truth.
The village head says, Maharaj we never even take their name on our tongues.
Whose name?
The village head explains, the name of death that hides in the jungle of course, the one you have survived and come here, the one that nobody stays alive to take his name.
Jaichand and Senapati give a chuckle. Senapati smiles and replies this is just your superstitious beliefs. Just trust me, by taking the name of a tiger nothing will happen to anybody. Jaichand laughs some more.
The village head says this is not funny, you just take some rest Maharaj, I will make arrangements for your meals, he leaves to do the errand.
One more man from the temple greets them, he says, I am happy Maharaj that all you people have reached here safe and sound. Otherwise only corpses of people reach across this jungle.
Jaichand must be happy with those words. Jaichand can see that Sanyo is terrified to hear it.
I do not know if Prithvi will be able to cross this jungle or not, Sanyo is worried.
Jaichand tells my army must have confronted those tigers, now if Prithvi enters the jungle then he will be ripped into tiny pieces.
Sanyo is terrified, she answers back to her father, no! Nothing will happen to Prithvi, nothing will happen to him.
Jaichand looks at his daughter.
Prithvi, Arjun, Pundir, and Chand move on. Behind them are the Dhilli troops they walk in a straight line.
The tiger still eyes them, his paws has long claws. The creature attacks the last man in line and drags him away into the bush.
Everybody is alerted and halts. Prithvi and buddies look behind them. Nothing can be done they continue to march ahead. One more victim is pulled to his death. Again they halt and see behind. They carry on forward towards the path. 4 buddies walk in a straight line side by side.
The tiger is still viewing them.
They all march ahead and stop abruptly once again. Prithvi eyes something in the bushes. It’s a tiger, Prithvi gestures everyone to duck down. Prithvi Arjun and Pundir crawl into some trees, they can actually see a tiger in the distance. The tiger makes his way in their direction, Prithvi needs to take action fast, so he orders them all to shout loudly. He tells them quickly. The tiger comes closer they all get up and raise their swords in the air at the same time and shout Ho! Ho! Ho! Ho! Ho! Ho! All the soldiers yell Ho! Ho! Ho! Repeatedly.
The tiger instead of going to attack them changes his direction and leaves quietly as he has become scared by the noise and confusion. Prithvi watches it leave while others continue to shout Ho! Ho! Ho!
In Nandangaon Jaichand can hear the shouts, Ho! Coming from the jungle. Sanyo is listening also she is worried.
This is the scream that I was waiting for. How much peace I get by listening to the enemy’s cry says Jaichand contentedly.
That peace of mind you will never get father!
Jaichand turns to his daughter, if not false, what great trust you have deep beneath yourself. You still feel that those deadly tigers have left your Prithvi alive? He mocks.
God will only decide whom to kill and whom to save, not the tiger and neither you. No matter how many times you try father, nobody can rub away this 'sindhoor'. Sanyo lifts her “bindi” to reveal the "sindhoor" on her head. What tiger! Prithvi will rip into the chest of the earth and come and find me!
Prithvi and gang are still in the deadly jungle all of them are scattered and scan the area. Prithvi is vigilant. Chand also looks everywhere. Prithvi looks ahead into some trees he is about to go in that area.
Pundir watches him and tells him to stop.
Prithvi tip-toes and raises his sword in the air to strike, Arghhhh!
Pundir yells, stop!
Arghhhhh!
Stop! Arjun emerges from behind the trees, it was only him. Luckily Prithvi didn't swing the sword on him. It's me he says.
Prithvi checks the entire place, we will go ahead looks like the tiger ran away. They continue their journey, but the tiger is still there. Prithvi can hear the roar and is cautious, he looks all around while they march ahead it is still night time. The tiger follows them behind carefully.
Chand calls Prithvi looks like the tiger is still around.
Prithvi orders his troops to run, move from here quickly! Everybody runs for their lives as fast as they can.
The tiger roars.
As everybody runs Arjun loses his balance and trips, he falls to the ground his leg is injured preventing him to keep up with everyone.
Prithvi realizes that he has fallen and stops and calls out Arjun! Get up Arjun!
Maybe my leg has caught against something Prithvi Arjun tells him.
Prithvi and Pundir try to set him free.
The tiger will come any moment now, warns Arjun as he tries to get up, you go Prithvi he shouts.
Prithvi tries to lift his friend.
The tiger is coming closer.
Arjun shouts the tiger is coming nearer.
No Arjun, I will not leave you alone and go says Prithvi, get up, he tries to convince his buddy.
Arjun just sits there on the ground helpless. Agree with me Prithvi, sister-in-law is in danger! You go and save them go!
I will take you with me, get up!
Arjun blackmails his buddy, if you don't go from here, I will kill myself warns Arjun and removes his dagger.
Arjun! Prithvi tries to take the dagger away from him.
The tiger is nearing them, Arjun hides his head in Prithvi's chest. Prithvi looks at the fierce tiger and cuddles close to Arjun to protect him.
Pundir tells Prithvi to take care its coming.
The tiger is really coming.
Prithvi doesn't waste time and lifts Arjun upon his shoulders and makes a run fast, all the soldiers also run away as the tiger approaches.
Pundir, Chand and Prithvi carrying Arjun run ahead as fast as they can through the jungle. They run a long distance, till finally Prithvi stops and looks ahead. He gently puts Arjun down and allows him to sit. Arjun is in severe pain. Chand and Pundir are relieved. Arjun reaches for Prithvi and gives him a big hug for saving his life. Even Prithvi is happy he smiles.
Jaichand is with the village head near the Durga temple with Sanyo. You have taken very good care of us Mukhiyaji, Jaichand complements him, but now we will have to leave this place now.
Sanyo has tears in her eyes, Prithvi has still not arrived.
The village head wants to tell something important, Maharaj I would.....
Jaichand interrupts him and says he will not be able to reach here, forget about him he tells his daughter.
But Maharaj....
Jaichand again interrupts him doesn’t give a chance to talk. He raises his hand, we still have a long journey to travel, Jaichand puts his hand on Mukhiya's shoulder, because of that we will have to reach our destination as soon as possible. We will be leaving, he pats his shoulders, and leaves.
Sanyo goes inside the Durga temple to pray for Prithvi, she folds her hands in front of the idol and closes her eyes. I know Prithvi you will definitely reach here. But how are you going to find out where my father has taken me to? If I were to leave some clue behind then? Sanyo gets an idea and looks at the ornaments on her hands. She removes a ring from her finger and places it on the altar in front of the idol. Sanyo lifts the “kumkum” container and looks at the idol. She then removes some quantity of “kumkum” in her hands, she puts the container back.
The Mukhiya or village head, tells the Senapati, our village folk are tired of the tiger problem here. The tigers come here frequently, and snatches our small children away. If you could help us in some way we would be obliged?
Definitely we can, but not at this time. This time we are in a hurry.
Our children are facing so many problems.
Jaichand returns what is it Senapati Shreyas, is there any issues to sort?
Mukhiya answers nothing Maharaj, we have already been dealing with our big problem for so many years.
Senapati answers, where do we always have time to deal with the village folk’s minor problems here and there Maharaj?
No Shreyas, Jaichand points his fingers in the air, any matters will be matters to take care of, there is nothing small or big. Jaichand assures Mukhiyaji, you just don’t worry, he pats his shoulders, I will definitely help you, but only when we get back. Right now we are in a hurry. Jaichand ushers his troop, and takes a pouch from him. Jaichand hands over the pouch to Mukhiya, this is from us, for your village, a token of appreciation, keep it with you. Come let’s go he tells, they leave.
Mukhiya doesn’t look thrilled and looks at the pouch in his hands without any satisfaction.
Sanyo also leaves looking behind her. Suddenly a crisis lands in that village, people run helter-skelter everywhere. There is chaos and confusion somebody yells Bhago! Bhago!
The Mukhiya holds the pouch in his hands and just watches blankly. The other man with him leaves. The Mukhiya’s pouch turns upside down and all the contents fall to the ground it’s just some coins. He sees the confusion and crowd outside and yells to everyone to close their windows and doors! Fast! Everybody get inside your houses! Bhago! The Mukhiya also runs to his house for safety, the streets go empty.
At the corner Prithvi and gang are approaching Prithvi still carries his buddy, on his shoulders.
They all walk down the street, with the soldiers behind.
The tiger is coming also and roars.

Episode on Saturday, November, 8 2008
Jaichand has given orders to kill Prithviraj on the spot.
Sanyo is terrified, how could her father be so cruel to order something like that.
The Senapati says, yes Maharaj, and assures that our men are hiding in all areas, no matter where we are, even if Prithvi wants to follow us, he will perish there on the spot.
Sanyo looks at the Senapati, she is shocked to listen such words said right in front of her face.
They all walk ahead to continue the journey, Jaichand leads the way.
Prithvi stands near a tree contemplating, while Pundir waits and Arjun takes rest by a huge rock. Prithvi walks back and forth. Arjun tries to see if he can get up, but is unable to. Pundir sees him and offers help.
Arjun gestures its okay and tries to get up again without any assistance. He finally does it, he uses the boulder behind him for support, he is in pain but manages to stand upright.
Prithvi doesn’t notice his friend’s efforts and is lost in his thoughts.
Arjun and Pundir look at Prithvi, but Arjun loses his balance and falls, he slips between the deep crevice of two boulders in front of him. Pundir rushes to fetch him.
Prithvi is still thinking near the tree unaware of what has just happened.
Arjun struggles to come out of the ditch and crawls out he stands on his own. Both of them walk towards Prithvi.
Arjun calls, Prithvi?
Prithvi turns and looks at Arjun he is startled, Arjun? Prithvi rushes towards him and puts his hand on his shoulders, Arjun? How did you come here? Go and rest, Prithvi is worried about his health. You just need some rest.
Arjun informs him I am much better than before Prithvi……But you are the one who is not alright. The worry’s of sister-in-law are clearly written on your face. Arjun tries to show Prithvi he is fine, come now sister-in-law is waiting for us.
Prithvi is negative, but Arjun you…..
Now if you don’t believe in me, I can definitely run all the way to ‘trigud’ cave and show you, Arjun says happily to his King.
Pundir watches his buddies discuss.
Prithvi knows his buddy is trying so hard and gives him a big hug. Prithvi is pleased with him.
Arjun smiles and says, so we will go?
Prithvi replies come on. All 3 of them head to the cave where they are supposed to find Sanyo and Chand.
Prithvi walks ahead, Arjun limps with the sword in hand, Pundir is steady behind. They have to cross vast rocky terrain. Prithvi is far ahead, he turns around and sees Arjun and smiles at him with confidence.
Arjun gives a big smile back as if everything was fine. Prithvi walks ahead.
Pundir can recognize Arjun’s actual situation, blood drips from his calf through his bandages, he is in real pain and can barely walk. He feels sorry for his friend, and follows them both.
They have passed vast jungle and run ahead. Arjun calls Prithvi. They halt, see ahead is the cave he points right there. Arjun tries to catch his breath, that’s ‘trugud’ cave.
They are next to the cave Prithvi leads the way inside. The 3 enter the cave passing through the shrubs. They rush inside and call out Sanyogita! Chand!, Repeatedly.
They go deep inside the cave and shout their names loudly, they search everywhere.
Prithvi is annoyed what is this, nobody is here.
Arjun can’t believe it they were supposed to be here, maybe they are over there.
Prithvi shouts Sanyogita! They all leave the cave. Prithvi shouts Sanyogita! Chand! The three of them frantically call out their names and search outside in front of the cave.
Prithvi scans the ground for some proof, he sees some blood and torn fabric, he doesn’t like what he sees.
Somebody from far away calls Arjun!
Pundir says, sounds like Chand’s voice.
Prithvi says, Chand? They rush to the spot where the sound is coming from.
Chand sits at the trunk of a tree all wounded, he shouts with all the energy he has left, Prithvi…
All 3 of them spot him and run straight to him, Prithvi says, Chand? He hugs him and is glad to see he is alive. How did this all happen, Chand?
Pundir and Arjun are upset about his situation.
Tell me Chand, who did all this to you? Prithvi catches Chand’s head.
I tried very hard Prithvi, he breathes hard, but Maharaj Jaichand has taken sister-in-law away with him, please forgive me, I really did try hard to, but I, for you….
Prithvi understands and holds him tightly, don’t worry about it Chand, nothing will happen to your sister-in-law.
Arjun and Pundir become more upset by the situation.
Prithvi asks, just tell me where they went.
Chand lifts his hand and points in a direction, I heard they were talking about going that way.
Pundir, tells them to wait here, I will go and bring some of our troops, he leaves to get them.
Arjun sees his two buddies and clutches their fists together, Prithvi we will find sister-in-law real soon and nods positively.
Yes Prithvi, Chand agrees.
Prithvi gets up, all 3 of them carry on, to search, Arjun and Chand help each other walk ahead.
Prithvi’s eyes spot something shiny on the ground he bends to pick it up and recognizes it as Sanyogita’s ornaments, her bracelets. Arjun also sees it.
(What happened earlier at the same spot,
Sanyo has just rushed out of the cave and sees her father instead of Prithvi, father? Sanyo is surprised to see him, you?
Jaichand who was leaving the place hears her voice and angrily turns around and faces his daughter, “kabardar!”, “kabardar”, you ever call me father. Tie her hands and take her with me, he orders the Senapati.
Senapati tries to get her.
No! Shrieks Sanyo, don’t you dare touch me!
Jaichand walks over to her instead and grabs her arm and yanks it.
Sanyo tries to struggle out of his grasp, while Jaichand glares at her. Jaichand then pulls her bracelets out and drops them onto the ground so he can tie her arms up. He slaps her face.
Sanyo holds her cheek and tears fall from her eyes. Jaichand then yanks her away, while her other set off bracelets fall also as they leave.)
Prithvi still holds the bracelets gazing at them.
Arjun puts his hand on Prithvi’s shoulders and says his name to give him courage.
Prithvi acknowledges him and they continue their journey to search for Sanyo with Arjun limping and Chand by his side.
In the bush nearby, two Kannauj troops are in camouflage, they spy on them, Senapati Shreyas was correct when he said Maharaj Prithviraj Chauhan never accepts defeat.
The other troop says, but today he will have to accept defeat. They watch them walk ahead, the other troop waves the red flag to alert the others. More Kannauj troops are alerted to prepare for an attack.
Night has fallen, Jaichand and Sanyo along with the troops walk into the dense forest.
Where are we going to Maharaj, asks the Senapati, as you look further and beyond not one human being seems to be present.
That’s because where we are going, no human being can reach there that easily. This is a very distant and isolated area. A tiger roars, birds tweet in the jungle. No human even tries to reach here, because of the tribals who live here in this forest are cannibals.
Then how will we go there Maharaj?
Jaichand halts, Sanyo and all the troops behind him also come to a stop, you see all of the tribals are my friends thats how. Also because of them, even if Prithvi wanted to, he would not be able to put even his foot here in this territory.
Sanyo finally interrupts her father and requests him, why don’t you remove this misunderstanding from your mind, because wherever I am, nobody can stop Prithvi from coming to me.
Jaichand grabs his daughter’s hands angrily and gives her a jerk, he glares into her eyes. He informs his troops and everyone, now on from here we must travel carefully ahead because this territory is filled with “koonkar” tigers, understand. He yanks his daughter’s arms away.
Sanyo retaliates and shouts, why don’t you just leave me here to die!
Regarding what you have done to your father’s pride and reputation, in front of that this is a very small punishment for it, Rajkumari Sanyogita! Let’s go!
They all march ahead along with the troops into the dense forest.
A tiger’s roar is heard. One tiger eyes them, it is hidden in the dense canopy of trees.
It is early morning, mist is all around. The 4 march on with the troops, they have entered the tribal’s territory.
This area looks dangerous Prithvi. Why would Maharaj, Maharaj Jaichand come with sister-in-law in such a place? Questions Arjun. They halt for a moment.
Kannauj troops are prepared to attack any time, they are concealed and hide in the bushes and trees ready to fight.
The four walk ahead, while they are watched upon by them. Prithvi’s troops follow them. They stop again, Prithvi observes some trampled and damaged foliage in the path and says look, it looks like someone has just passed by here moments ago.
Has some human passed here or some animal, Arjun questions.
A tiger has spotted them and roars.
Maybe an animal (tiger) is waiting to target us, Pundir comments.
The 4 all march on with the troops carrying their torches in the dim lit night. They are careful and slow, they quietly walk ahead paying attention all around them in case something attacks. Prithvi is especially vigilant.
Suddenly a tiger roar is heard loudly, one troop panics. All the troops scatter everywhere in fear in different directions. Prithvi turns around and tells them all to stop and be calm. I said stop! The troops listen and come back to their positions. Prithvi cautiously spots someone in the bushes and says, there’s not only a tiger here but someone else. Prithvi slowly and silently moves near a tree and quickly cuts away on the tree in front of him with his sword, an unsuspected Kannauj troop falls down dead. Prithvi is correct there was somebody there. He wanders off ahead and cuts away into two more trees, 2 more of his enemies fall dead, they didn’t even try to save themselves. Prithvi slashes the throat of another Kannauj troop before he can even react and attack back.
Prithvi tip-toes further and stabs another with his sword and kills him instantly he falls flat down to the ground. Prithvi looks for more people to attack and walks back to his buddies. Nobody else seems to be around, the path looks safe and cleared for them to pass. Prithvi and buddies check around. No, instead they get surrounded by more troops of Kannauj, they attack, fight is on. Swords clash, Prithvi eliminates two at a time rapidly. One after the other he stabs them all with his sword, many die. Chand has regained his strength and fights two more. Pundir takes on two more troops, he pins their swords in the air and kicks a third oncoming troop all by himself. When that’s over he kicks another one and pushes many as they attack him.
Prithvi takes on four more at a time, he pins their swords up in the air with all his energies to save himself. He pushes them back and they all fall backward like dominos.
Chand continues to fight one and punches another.
Arjun stabs one troop with his sword, four more attack him, he cuts into four of them with his sword one by one. Pundir does the same thing he kills 6 more of the enemies. Prithvi slashes into 2 more troops, and sees if anybody is left.
Pundir is next to him and looks around for more attackers, all of them were soldiers from the Kannauj army, he says.
This would mean only one thing, says Prithvi, Jaichand and his men have gone directly on this road ahead, he points in that direction to show his buddies. He has left his troops scattered everywhere, so that we cannot follow him.
This would mean that he has not reached very far, says Chand.
We must follow them, hurry up let’s go, Prithvi orders. They all follow the path.
Jaichand and Sanyo, plus all the troops carry on through the night.
A fierce sound of a tiger is heard. The tiger makes his way into their path to attack.
Sanyo and Jaichand turn to see if anything is there. Nothing is seen and they walk ahead. All are cautious, even the Senapati looks frightened. As they walk ahead one troop falls dead in front of them and gets dragged away.
Jaichand has his sword ready and looks around.
A tiger watches them all.
The troops have heard the roar and scatter all around in different directions with fear, like cowards.
Jaichand watches his troops run away and reaches for his daughter and pulls her.
Sanyo shouts, leave me, let go of me. Jaichand still pulls her away to safety, he runs with her and trips over a dead body and falls down. Sanyo is set free and runs in another direction. Jaichand gets up and looks for his daughter, he calls out Sanyogita! He looks everywhere around him, nobody is seen. Sanyogita!
Sanyo is alone and runs away all by herself through the darkness.
Jaichand still calls out Sanyogita! But no use he searches everywhere. Jaichand runs towards another direction.
Sanyo is still running, a tiger eyes her and follows her. Sanyo has come very near to the tiger. It roars fiercely. Sanyo stops right there with fear, she can see it from a distance, a dark orange coloured patch. She continuously looks at it from the bushes and tries to move away slowly. She then stands silent and can hear more harsh roars, the tiger advances closer to her.

Arjun informs him I am much better than before Prithvi……But you are the one who is not alright. The worry’s of sister-in-law are clearly written on your face. Arjun tries to show Prithvi he is fine, come now sister-in-law is waiting for us.

Pundir watches his buddies discuss.
Prithvi knows his buddy is trying so hard and gives him a big hug. Prithvi is pleased with him.
Arjun smiles and says, so we will go?
Prithvi replies come on. All 3 of them head to the cave where they are supposed to find Sanyo and Chand.
Prithvi walks ahead, Arjun limps with the sword in hand, Pundir is steady behind. They have to cross vast rocky terrain. Prithvi is far ahead, he turns around and sees Arjun and smiles at him with confidence.
Arjun gives a big smile back as if everything was fine. Prithvi walks ahead.
Pundir can recognize Arjun’s actual situation, blood drips from his calf through his bandages, he is in real pain and can barely walk. He feels sorry for his friend, and follows them both.
They have passed vast jungle and run ahead. Arjun calls Prithvi. They halt, see ahead is the cave he points right there. Arjun tries to catch his breath, that’s ‘trugud’ cave.
They are next to the cave Prithvi leads the way inside. The 3 enter the cave passing through the shrubs. They rush inside and call out Sanyogita! Chand!, Repeatedly.
They go deep inside the cave and shout their names loudly, they search everywhere.
Prithvi is annoyed what is this, nobody is here.
Arjun can’t believe it they were supposed to be here, maybe they are over there.
Prithvi shouts Sanyogita! They all leave the cave. Prithvi shouts Sanyogita! Chand! The three of them frantically call out their names and search outside in front of the cave.
Prithvi scans the ground for some proof, he sees some blood and torn fabric, he doesn’t like what he sees.
Somebody from far away calls Arjun!
Pundir says, sounds like Chand’s voice.
Prithvi says, Chand? They rush to the spot where the sound is coming from.
Chand sits at the trunk of a tree all wounded, he shouts with all the energy he has left, Prithvi…
All 3 of them spot him and run straight to him, Prithvi says, Chand? He hugs him and is glad to see he is alive. How did this all happen, Chand?
Pundir and Arjun are upset about his situation.
Tell me Chand, who did all this to you? Prithvi catches Chand’s head.
I tried very hard Prithvi, he breathes hard, but Maharaj Jaichand has taken sister-in-law away with him, please forgive me, I really did try hard to, but I, for you….
Prithvi understands and holds him tightly, don’t worry about it Chand, nothing will happen to your sister-in-law.
Arjun and Pundir become more upset by the situation.
Prithvi asks, just tell me where they went.
Chand lifts his hand and points in a direction, I heard they were talking about going that way.
Pundir, tells them to wait here, I will go and bring some of our troops, he leaves to get them.
Arjun sees his two buddies and clutches their fists together, Prithvi we will find sister-in-law real soon and nods positively.
Yes Prithvi, Chand agrees.
Prithvi gets up, all 3 of them carry on, to search, Arjun and Chand help each other walk ahead.
Prithvi’s eyes spot something shiny on the ground he bends to pick it up and recognizes it as Sanyogita’s ornaments, her bracelets. Arjun also sees it.

Sanyo has just rushed out of the cave and sees her father instead of Prithvi, father? Sanyo is surprised to see him, you?
Jaichand who was leaving the place hears her voice and angrily turns around and faces his daughter, “kabardar!”, “kabardar”, you ever call me father. Tie her hands and take her with me, he orders the Senapati.
Senapati tries to get her.
No! Shrieks Sanyo, don’t you dare touch me!
Jaichand walks over to her instead and grabs her arm and yanks it.
Sanyo tries to struggle out of his grasp, while Jaichand glares at her. Jaichand then pulls her bracelets out and drops them onto the ground so he can tie her arms up. He slaps her face.
Sanyo holds her cheek and tears fall from her eyes. Jaichand then yanks her away, while her other set off bracelets fall also as they leave.)
Prithvi still holds the bracelets gazing at them.
Arjun puts his hand on Prithvi’s shoulders and says his name to give him courage.
Prithvi acknowledges him and they continue their journey to search for Sanyo with Arjun limping and Chand by his side.
In the bush nearby, two Kannauj troops are in camouflage, they spy on them, Senapati Shreyas was correct when he said Maharaj Prithviraj Chauhan never accepts defeat.
The other troop says, but today he will have to accept defeat. They watch them walk ahead, the other troop waves the red flag to alert the others. More Kannauj troops are alerted to prepare for an attack.
Night has fallen, Jaichand and Sanyo along with the troops walk into the dense forest.
Where are we going to Maharaj, asks the Senapati, as you look further and beyond not one human being seems to be present.
That’s because where we are going, no human being can reach there that easily. This is a very distant and isolated area. A tiger roars, birds tweet in the jungle. No human even tries to reach here, because of the tribals who live here in this forest are cannibals.
Then how will we go there Maharaj?
Jaichand halts, Sanyo and all the troops behind him also come to a stop, you see all of the tribals are my friends thats how. Also because of them, even if Prithvi wanted to, he would not be able to put even his foot here in this territory.
Sanyo finally interrupts her father and requests him, why don’t you remove this misunderstanding from your mind, because wherever I am, nobody can stop Prithvi from coming to me.
Jaichand grabs his daughter’s hands angrily and gives her a jerk, he glares into her eyes. He informs his troops and everyone, now on from here we must travel carefully ahead because this territory is filled with “koonkar” tigers, understand. He yanks his daughter’s arms away.
Sanyo retaliates and shouts, why don’t you just leave me here to die!
Regarding what you have done to your father’s pride and reputation, in front of that this is a very small punishment for it, Rajkumari Sanyogita! Let’s go!
They all march ahead along with the troops into the dense forest.
A tiger’s roar is heard. One tiger eyes them, it is hidden in the dense canopy of trees.
It is early morning, mist is all around. The 4 march on with the troops, they have entered the tribal’s territory.
This area looks dangerous Prithvi. Why would Maharaj, Maharaj Jaichand come with sister-in-law in such a place? Questions Arjun. They halt for a moment.
Kannauj troops are prepared to attack any time, they are concealed and hide in the bushes and trees ready to fight.
The four walk ahead, while they are watched upon by them. Prithvi’s troops follow them. They stop again, Prithvi observes some trampled and damaged foliage in the path and says look, it looks like someone has just passed by here moments ago.
Has some human passed here or some animal, Arjun questions.
A tiger has spotted them and roars.
Maybe an animal (tiger) is waiting to target us, Pundir comments.
The 4 all march on with the troops carrying their torches in the dim lit night. They are careful and slow, they quietly walk ahead paying attention all around them in case something attacks. Prithvi is especially vigilant.
Suddenly a tiger roar is heard loudly, one troop panics. All the troops scatter everywhere in fear in different directions. Prithvi turns around and tells them all to stop and be calm. I said stop! The troops listen and come back to their positions. Prithvi cautiously spots someone in the bushes and says, there’s not only a tiger here but someone else. Prithvi slowly and silently moves near a tree and quickly cuts away on the tree in front of him with his sword, an unsuspected Kannauj troop falls down dead. Prithvi is correct there was somebody there. He wanders off ahead and cuts away into two more trees, 2 more of his enemies fall dead, they didn’t even try to save themselves. Prithvi slashes the throat of another Kannauj troop before he can even react and attack back.
Prithvi tip-toes further and stabs another with his sword and kills him instantly he falls flat down to the ground. Prithvi looks for more people to attack and walks back to his buddies. Nobody else seems to be around, the path looks safe and cleared for them to pass. Prithvi and buddies check around. No, instead they get surrounded by more troops of Kannauj, they attack, fight is on. Swords clash, Prithvi eliminates two at a time rapidly. One after the other he stabs them all with his sword, many die. Chand has regained his strength and fights two more. Pundir takes on two more troops, he pins their swords in the air and kicks a third oncoming troop all by himself. When that’s over he kicks another one and pushes many as they attack him.
Prithvi takes on four more at a time, he pins their swords up in the air with all his energies to save himself. He pushes them back and they all fall backward like dominos.
Chand continues to fight one and punches another.
Arjun stabs one troop with his sword, four more attack him, he cuts into four of them with his sword one by one. Pundir does the same thing he kills 6 more of the enemies. Prithvi slashes into 2 more troops, and sees if anybody is left.
Pundir is next to him and looks around for more attackers, all of them were soldiers from the Kannauj army, he says.
This would mean only one thing, says Prithvi, Jaichand and his men have gone directly on this road ahead, he points in that direction to show his buddies. He has left his troops scattered everywhere, so that we cannot follow him.
This would mean that he has not reached very far, says Chand.
We must follow them, hurry up let’s go, Prithvi orders. They all follow the path.
Jaichand and Sanyo, plus all the troops carry on through the night.
A fierce sound of a tiger is heard. The tiger makes his way into their path to attack.
Sanyo and Jaichand turn to see if anything is there. Nothing is seen and they walk ahead. All are cautious, even the Senapati looks frightened. As they walk ahead one troop falls dead in front of them and gets dragged away.
Jaichand has his sword ready and looks around.
A tiger watches them all.
The troops have heard the roar and scatter all around in different directions with fear, like cowards.
Jaichand watches his troops run away and reaches for his daughter and pulls her.
Sanyo shouts, leave me, let go of me. Jaichand still pulls her away to safety, he runs with her and trips over a dead body and falls down. Sanyo is set free and runs in another direction. Jaichand gets up and looks for his daughter, he calls out Sanyogita! He looks everywhere around him, nobody is seen. Sanyogita!
Sanyo is alone and runs away all by herself through the darkness.
Jaichand still calls out Sanyogita! But no use he searches everywhere. Jaichand runs towards another direction.
Sanyo is still running, a tiger eyes her and follows her. Sanyo has come very near to the tiger. It roars fiercely. Sanyo stops right there with fear, she can see it from a distance, a dark orange coloured patch. She continuously looks at it from the bushes and tries to move away slowly. She then stands silent and can hear more harsh roars, the tiger advances closer to her.
