Pundir is on alert he paces back and forth while Chand and Arjun sit before a camp fire. Prithvi and Sanyo rest nearby.

Jaichand and forces have reached the vicinity of the place where the woodcutters had spotted Sanyo earlier. Jaichand says halt, from now on we will all have to move carefully ahead so that our enemy will not be able to listen to the sounds of our terror coming. Poor things would have fallen into a deep sleep and we must not give them a chance to wake up even. All you people understand! Let’s Go! Jaichand orders his troops to advance without making a sound.

Pundir seems to be leaving somewhere. Prithvi is paying strict attention on him he gets up and quickly asks him where are you going?
Pundir says half of the wood is almost over, I will go and get some more.
Prithvi orders Arjun to accompany him.
Nothing will happen to me says Pundir, I just will go and come back fast.
Prithvi gives approval, okay come back fast.
Okay then, says Pundir he leaves to fetch the wood.

Jaichand and troops march on.

Sanyo is a sleep while Prithvi keeps vigilance. He can see she is shivering. He goes to fetch a shawl and shakes the dust off of it. Prithvi covers her with the shawl.

Jaichand and the Kannauj army march onward they will reach very soon.
Prithvi hears a noise in the bushes. Chand and Arjun also are alerted. Prithvi shouts Pundir! Prithvi gets up and races to the place where the sound has come from. Chand and Arjun follow suit.

Jaichand and troops march ahead nonstop.

The 3 run into the forest they can still hear the moaning sounds of someone. They try to locate the person, Prithvi shouts who is here! Come forward!
The 3 walk forward into the bush closer to a man, they see he is lying down on the ground. They raise their swords, but before they swing it the man calls out Maharaj!
Arjun recognizes him and says he’s our man. Prithvi doesn’t waste time and goes to his side.
Maharaj! Maharaj! Jaichand is on his way with his comrades he may reach anytime now. The troop breathes those last words to inform his King and dies.
The first thing on Prithvi’s mind is Sanyo. Prithvi rushes back to camp to find her she is nowhere to be seen. He looks for her and calls Sanyo!
Sanyo returns from where she was and asks what has happened Prithvi? Why are you shouting like this?
Sanyogita you will have to move now from here immediately come fast, you have very less time.
Why what has happened?
Your father has searched and searched for us and has reached this place finally.
Sanyo is shocked.
We must leave warns Prithvi.

Jaichand and army take a halt, Jaichand tells to act fast they have finally reached the destination. They must not survive and leave this area warns Jaichand. Come on!

Chand and Arjun rush back to Prithvi. Chand informs Prithvi that Pundir still has not returned from bringing the wood for you.
Prithvi orders them both to take Sanyo with them and go, I will go and get Pundir.
Sanyo doesn’t like the idea and says no, I will not leave you and go anywhere she blocks Prithvi’s path.
Sanyo don’t worry about me I will return back.
No! If you are here then I will stay here only.

Time is running out Jaichand and troops are very near in the vicinity. The woodcutters lead the way to the exact same spot where they saw Sanyo.
Arjun requests sister-in-law to listen to Prithvi he is correct.
Chand also tells her, if your father sees you with Prithviraj then the situation will get worse.
Sanyo finally agrees, but she warns Prithvi, if you don’t come fast then we will again be separated.
Prithvi wipes her tears off her cheek and says, Sanyo you just don’t worry about me, nothing will happen to me, he kisses her forehead. Go, he tells her, and take care of yourself.
Chand and Arjun accompany Sanyo, all 3 leave. Sanyo keeps on looking behind her to see Prithvi again and again.
Prithvi also watches till he cannot see her ahead.

Jaichand and army have reached the correct place. The woodcutter points out the exact location where he last saw Sanyo, to Maharaj Jaichand. Jaichand can see a garden patch and many torches lit up with fire. A campfire still burns. Jaichand orders his troops to get ready to attack.

Prithvi is still waiting for Pundir with part of his army in the garden. Prithvi wonders where he went. Why has he not come till now?
Pundir is carrying some logs he is on his way back to the garden.
Prithvi can listen to heavy footfalls nearby, sounds like approaching troops. Prithvi calls his army, get ready, we will have to save Pundir. Prithvi runs forward and ducks behind a barrier he can see Jaichand and his troops far off waiting to attack.
Pundir carries the wood he doesn’t know of the approaching danger.

Chand, Arjun and Sanyo walk ahead in the forest to safety. Nothing will happen to Prithvi says Chand, Arjun is telling correctly. Prithvi is capable of fighting off an entire army, there is no reason for you to worry.
You do not know about my father, he is impossible to defeat.
But Prithvi’s sword can change the impossible to possible answers Chand.
May God permit it.
Let’s go, says Chand they walk ahead with the Dhilli army behind them.

Pundir walks back to the garden to his buddies, he doesn’t know about the situation.
Jaichand has spotted him, he orders his troops to attack and kill him. Come on! Jaichand jumps over a log, his whole army attacks. Arghhh! Jaichand removes his sword from the case. He sees Pundir they face each other now. Pundir is alone, one man against many. Jaichand throws a spear directly at Pundir, it hits his sword while he takes it out of its cover and falls to the ground, he is unarmed. Jaichand takes a swing of his sword ready to kill Pundir, Arghhhh! Prithvi as usual comes in time to block Jaichand’s sword and saves Pundir’s life.
Prithvi! Yells Jaichand.
I was waiting for an opportunity like this to meet you Jaichand.
You don’t know Prithvi, how this meeting with me will cost you heavily, because today I will make you pay all the credit you owe.
Prithvi still pins the sword of Jaichand, you are yourself responsible for whatever has happened today. If you would have just understood your daughter’s love then this situation would have never aroused.
No Prithvi this was not love this was deceit, and I will punish you for this crime at any cost. Tell me Prithvi tell me, where is my daughter?
She was your daughter Jaichand! But now she is Dhilli’s Queen.

Prithvi and Pundir are alone.

Chand, Arjun and Sanyo walk through the night with the Dhilli army as protection in the forest. Suddenly in front of them an arrow pierces a trunk of a tree just missing them by few inches. They see in front of them just a few yards away the Kannauj army blocking their way. Chand and Arjun remove their lances prepare to defend themselves.
Arjun requests Chand to take sister-in-law with him and run away fast from here. I will deal with them myself.
Chand says no, I cannot go and leave you here alone.
Don’t worry about me Chand, says Arjun sarcastically. Right now our greatest responsibility is sister-in-law. We have to protect her and save her under any circumstance. Arjun thrashes his lance on the oncoming Kannauj army he shouts, you make your move Chand! Arjun pins the troop’s sword in the air.
Chand doesn’t react, he and Sanyo just stand there watching.
More troops surround Arjun. The fight is on Dhilli army versus Kannauj army while Arjun takes on more troops alone. Chand is alarmed he doesn’t leave the scene of battle but fights also. Both of them fight, resisting multiple attacks of the Kannauj army like before. They kill many.

Meanwhile at the other end of the forest, Prithvi is still arguing with Jaichand. Prithvi yells out his name, Jaichand, if anything happens to Sanyogita, I will burn the entire of Kannauj to ashes. Prithvi strikes Jaichand’s sword the fight is on, lances clash, tang tang. Jaichand pins Prithvi’s sword and pushes him back.
Now let anything happen to Kannauj Prithvi, anything, today I want your and Sanyogita’s corpse’s right here, I want vengeance for each and every insult.
You are responsible for the insults yourself Jaichand, yourself!
Attack them all! Finish them all, orders Jaichand to his army. All the troops attack, Prithvi fights Jaichand while Pundir and Dhilli army fights the Kannauj troops. Jaichand strikes Prithvi. Prithvi pins his sword up in the air and kicks Jaichand. Jaichand goes flying backward.
Prithvi moves away and bumps into Pundir. Pundir shouts, Maharani Sanyo’s life is in danger you go! Go fast and save them, I will deal with these here!
No Pundir, Prithvi pants, I cannot leave you here alone. Both of them fight off the troops side by side.
Try to understand Prithvi, our major responsibility now is to take Maharani Sanyo back to Dhilli safely!
I already told you Pundir, I cannot go and leave you alone like that!
Nothing will happen to me Prithvi, nothing will happen to me! More than me sister-in-law needs you, if something happens to her? Go! Go fast! They fight the troops. Prithvi doesn’t move from there he keeps on fighting.
Arjun and Chand continue to attack the Kannauj troops. Arjun cuts one down.
The commander of Kannauj army spots Sanyo alone and walks over to her.
Chand kills a troops but his attention is diverted on the approaching commander who lifts his lance to slice Sanyo.
Chand runs forward to save her, No! No! He shouts.
Argghhh! The commander tries to strike Sanyo but is blocked by Chand’s sword, she is saved in the nick of time. Chand pins the commander’s sword on his Arghhhh! He pushes him back away from Sanyo.
Arjun kills another troop and calls Chand, you take sister-in-law away from here and run away!
Chand replies, I have already told you I will not leave you and go!
Then alright we will all go together says Arjun.
Good then, once we get the opportunity we will go from here. Chand fights some more, then he looks around to exit the fighting ground.
Arjun does the same.
Chand runs to Sanyo, come fast Maharaniji! The 3 of them get away, Sanyo’s veil gets caught in the wooden stump and falls to the ground she stops to get it but changes her mind and leaves it behind.
The commander watches them leave, he tells a troop they have gone to the jungle over there. Come, we must scan each and every area, nobody must leave this place alive. Kill them on the spot when you find the 3 of them!
The troop is in a dilemma.
What are you doing just looking at me, go and take action, the Commander orders the troop.
The troop is doubtful and questions the Commander, has Jaichand given us orders to kill Rajkumari Sanyo too?
Yes! We have been ordered to kill her too, on the spot, once you see her.

Prithvi and Pundir fight on the Kannauj army continuously side by side. The Kannauj troops find them together and take opportunity by throwing a net on top of them to capture them both. Prithvi and Pundir struggle to get out of it.
Jaichand watches them.
Prithvi is quick to react, he removes his dagger and cuts his way out of it, so does Pundir, they both are freed.
Jaichand is irritated the plan did not work. Enough Prithvi enough now your game is over. Jaichand lunges forward and strikes with his sword. Prithvi quickly flings his dagger on Jaichand and knocks Jaichand’s sword down to save himself. Prithvi picks up his own sword and goes to Pundir.
Pundir tells, I will stay in front and attack, you go quickly from here! Arghh! Arrrr!
Pundir I will not go from here without you.
That will be impossible, understand.
There is nothing impossible for Prithviraj Chauhan.
Jaichand is glaring at Prithvi, your death awaits you Prithvi. He walks directly to him, ready to kill him from behind, while he fights a troop. Jaichand lifts his hand to cut him, your game has finished, and slices his throat with his sword. Here is my revenge.

Prithvi has just saved Sanyo in the swayamwar, enough Jaichand enough he requests. Today if your hands be of any use, it will be for only the blessings. Too much has happened! Prithvi lets go of his hands. He knocks Jaichand’s sword down to the ground.
Arjun, Chand and Pundir wait close by. Arjun whistles for Prithvi’s horse to come running to Prithvi. He comes fast, the 3 buddies watch him run to his master.
Prithvi takes Sanyo’s arm they walk to his horse, he has arrived. Prithvi gets on his horse, and reaches out to Sanyo quickly, he helps her on the horse too.
Jaichand is just watching and helpless he cannot do anything, he looks at them angrily. Mother also can see them both.
Prithvi rides away on the horse, as he had promised to take her away in front of everyone. They leave the garden where the ceremony of the swayamwar was to take place.
Jaichand orders, follow them, to his guards, if they leave Kannauj alive then I will not leave any of you alive!
All the swamis get up to take their positions to fight.
Prithvi rides on while his three friends meet up with him on horse also, all four ride on.
Jaichand watches them disappear and shouts, Prithviraj Chauhan!
All of Dhilli’s troops have their daggers on all the guest’s neck. Jaichand quickly lifts his sword from the ground and starts to slaughter all of the troops, they fall one by one. Even Mhj. Surya P S, Mhj. Karthikan and all the other Kings fight Dhilli’s troops. Jaichand kills many they lay dead on the ground everywhere. Jaichand shouts get prepared for war! Prithviraj Chauhan and Sanyogita must not reach Dhilli alive! Prithviraj Chauhan!
Prithvi, Sanyo, Chand, Arjun and Pundir have reached a safe distant place deep in the forest. Everybody is gathered, Arjun cheers Prithviraj Chauhan Ki Jai! All the troops cheer Prithviraj Chauhan Ki Jai! All the troops salute also. Pundir raises his hands and shouts Maharani Sanyogita Ki Jai! Prithviraj Chauhan Ki Jai! Maharani Sanyogita Ki Jai! Prithviraj Chauhan Ki Jai!
Everybody throws rice and rose petals on the newlyweds. Prithvi removes his helmet, both walk into an abandoned garden. Prithvi puts his sword near a pillar they walk further to some privacy. Sanyo looks at Prithvi and hugs him tightly. Now you don’t have to worry about anything tells Prithvi, everything will be alright. Sanyo hugs him again.

Jaichand is in his quarters getting ready for the war, he puts his armor on with help of his servants, before they both pass the borders of Kannauj, I will cut them into tiny pieces he takes oath. His wife listens. What Prithvi thought? By taking my daughter right in front of me, I would not do anything about it. Now I will eliminate Prithvi and Sanyo’s name together at the same time with my own hands. He looks at his wife, Queen? Did you know about this all along? Jaichand puts his helmet and sword down and confronts her face to face. I asked you, did you know about Prithvi’s conspiracy? Answer my question Queen!
She doesn’t say anything to him, but Jaichand looks at her and understands the answer himself. He takes a tray for “arthi” and asks her to take it. Now you must do “arthi” and give blessings for the send off of war to me in a proper fashion. You must pray that I win.
Sanyo’s mother stands still.
Come on start it! Jaichand is irritable.
Sanyo’s mother lights the lamps and does “arthi” on her husband King Jaichand. She applies the “kumkum” on his forehead and showers him with rose petals. He is satisfied and leaves.
Mother drops the tray on the ground and sits down all of a sudden and cries bitterly because of the situation that has arised.
Jaichand sets for war to kill his daughter and son-in-law.

It is night Prithvi brings a tray of food to Sanyo who is sitting in the garden, torches are lit to make everything visible appropriately.
I cannot believe this is all true, till today I only use to dream about being with you, Sanyo tells him.
He places the plate of food and cup on the table, he sits next to her. Your dream has come true Sanyo.
Sanyo smiles back while Prithvi takes her hand in his. Prithvi promises that when all, when everything is over, afterwards he will not allow Sanyo to have any other problems henceforth. He will keep her next to him at all times. Always give happiness, love and affection.
Sanyo puts her hand on his mouth to stop his talking, you have already given me everything except one thing. If you gave me something to eat it would be nice, I am very hungry.
Prithvi smiles and takes some bread with vegetables and feeds her happily with his own hands.
Sanyo eats the food and smiles.
Arjun comes running to them to interrupt. He says I want to tell you something Prithvi.
Prithvi puts the plate down and says Sanyo you wait here, I will come back in few minutes. Prithvi and Arjun walk away.
Sanyo is left alone, meantime two woodcutters who were chopping wood earlier have spotted her and watch her from behind some bushes. One woodcutter tells the other, she looks like Maharaj Jaichand’s daughter Rajkumari Sanyogita. But what is she doing here in the jungle? Come let’s go back to the village and make some inquiries, they leave.
Pundir and Chand are joined with Arjun and Prithvi they are looking at a map, its part of a plan.
Prithvi asks what is it.
Arjun says the latest news is that Maharaj Jaichand’s army has spread out like insects in search for us, in the entire of Kannauj.
Chand says yes, also Maharaj Jaichand has set out specially himself to find you and Queen Sanyogita.
Pundir proposes, I have a plan ready, to be saved from them.
Chand explains we are to divide our army into 5 different subdivisions.
Punder tells Prithvi to take Sanyo with him to Dhilli along with the 4 subdivisions, while I and Arjun will take on Maharaj Jaichand.
Arjun nods positively.
Prithvi answers them back, what do you all think? I will leave you all to be left in the mouth of death and run back alone to Dhilli? We have started this fight together and the answer to this fight will be given by us jointly.
Pundir is adamant, you just try to understand the situation Prithvi, you are not alone anymore, with you is Queen Sanyogita also. Your most important mission and duty is that you must see her safety first and take her back to Dhilli.
Pundir is telling you correctly Prithvi, Arjun agrees, for us Dhilli’s Queen’s safety is top priority than anything else right now. We are ready to give our lives up for her so she can reach Dhilli safely.
Prithvi turns his head, he doesn’t agree with them at all, no I will not leave you all and go like that so easily.
His friends want to do their duties.
Let that Jaichand come. We will all fight his attack together. Prithvi returns to Sanyo.

Jaichand paces back and forth impatiently at camp, it is late night in the forest. A messenger has something to tell him something. What is it? Did you get any news about them?
Our people have totally scanned the entire northern region, King, but we could not find Maharaj Prithvi nor Rajkumari Sanyo, King.
Another guard bows in front of Jaichand, our group has scanned the southern, eastern and western areas piece by piece, but we still were not able to find any news about them.
Jaichand is angry, then where did they both go! Did the earth swallow them up or the sky removed them! Tell me!
The two guards remain silent.
Some other guards enter the camp and come with two unknown men and walk towards Jaichand. He sees them, who are they! Jaichand yells irritantly at them too, why you have brought them here!
The guard replies, this is Lakad Harai, Maharaj, they say they have something important to tell you.
Take them away from here! I don’t have any time for anybody today!
One of the woodcutters reply quickly, I have news about Rajkumari Sanyogita, Maharaj.
Jaichand’s mood changes with those words, he walks over close to the woodcutters and changes his tone of voice, what news have you brought? He asks politely.
Just some time before I have seen Rajkumari Sanyogita.
Where?
In the “Pashchim disha” tells the woodcutter, in the “kali-gati” jungle where I always go to cut the wood.
Jaichand is pleased by the valuable information he removes his pearls and hands it over to the woodcutter. Take this your prize.
The woodcutters accept the gift and bow to Jaichand. They both leave.
Jaichand exclaims, so both of you have secretly hidden yourselves there. Get ready, he orders his army! We will attack them right now in the desolateness of the night, and kill them both on the spot! Understand! ……Prithviiii…

Prithvi is arranging the grass for sleeping preparations as a make shift bed on the ground. Prithvi is again reminded about the prophecy of Pundir, he will not survive the war. A storm where there is a win but a loss, also. That was the psychic lady’s words. Prithvi remembers Sanjam too, how he had given his flesh up to the vultures to save his life.
Sanyo walks over to him and says Prithvi? What is it Prithvi? What is worrying you? She can see the expressions on his face.
Prithvi says nothing and continues to arrange the grass bed. Suddenly a loud shriek is heard. Prithvi shouts Pundir! He removes his sword and runs to find his friend. Arjun and Chand come running too.
Pundir was only pricked by a thorn and removes it from his heel. Prithvi has come to his side and sees him, so has Chand and Arjun.
Pundir is surprised to see his friends come running to him and asks what happened. What is the problem?
Prithvi says, I heard your voice and thought something might have happened to you?
Sanyo also is coming to see the fuss.
It was just a tiny thorn that got me and you are getting troubled by it, only by this, as if some arrow has hit me?
Chand and Arjun realize the silliness.
Prithvi goes back to his place. Sanyo has come also, what happened Prithvi? Looks like your worriness is eating you up inside.
Yes Sanyo, I continuously feel that Pundir must be kept away from this violence and fighting.
But why? He is your friend.
Because I feel that something or another is going to happen. Prithvi eyes his friends from a distance, something real bad.
I know Prithvi, how much love you have for your friends in your mind. Now you don’t worry about it, we will not go anywhere and leave them. If we have to fight my father, we will all fight him together.
Prithvi changes the subject, now you just go and sleep. When morning comes, we will move ahead elsewhere.
No, I cannot sleep.
Why?
If we find out in the morning that this all was just some beautiful dream then?
Prithvi ignores her and calls her wildcat, you always have some excuse. He softly tells her to go to sleep, so then I will have no room to worry. Shall we go? Prithvi and Sanyo walk to the corner where he has made the arrangements to sleep.

From the woodcutter’s tip off, Jaichand and his troops advance to the “paschim” end of Kannauj. They all walk rapidly with big strides to reach the destination faster through the night. They all pass through dense forest. The entire army walks in a straight line down the path with Jaichand in the lead.
