Ghori has the weapon aimed directly at Prithvi’s heart. Ghori releases the bow, but as usual Prithvi is swift and catches the arrow in his hand like as if it was a ball. Prithvi retaliates by throwing a spear at Ghori, it misses.

Shoot the arrows, kill him, orders Ghori.

A group of people, village folk have assembled in front of the fort to come to Prithvi's rescue. They throw stones at Ghori's troops above. Even if you try to get our King we will not spare you all. Ghori kills one of the villagers, how dare you all go against me? See the result, If you all try again I will show how M Ghori really is.

A messenger has rushed to the digging site and tells that all the troops are dead and Prithvi is in danger. The public try to defend for Prithvi. They have pelted stones at Ghori's men, Prithvi is still alive so far. S Singh leaves his work and comes to his brother-in-law, he sees him in front of the fort and yanks him away, come from here he tells him.
Prithvi is resistant, go and continue the tunnel construction!

In Bharatpur Sanyo is sure that she was being deliberately made sick, she tells that to Vaishalli, strange circumstances have happened to her. Sanyo finally realizes that the drink was tainted, the "gulab keshar sarbath" my head was in pain when I drank it and it had an offensive taste. I am sure the drink was adulterated. Arjun informs that they still need half a day for the tunnel to be completed. Chand gives his message that the sena from Dhillika will not reach till morning.
Prithvi is very disturbed that he lost this time and his sena was totally eliminated. Prithvi is in a dilemma what to do, can't we find another plan? Stop the tunnel work!

A spy of the sena watches Ghori as he rounds up the village people, he tells them just try to defend for Prithvi again! Just see how he went away like that. Ghori orders them all be locked in the dungeon and beaten till they have no function of their hands again. “Bechara” Prithvi must have run back to Dhilli. Just some more time then I will experience the majestic win!

Prithvi and everybody are at the temple. Prithvi does “arthi “on the Devi, Goddess. He tells her, all my troops have died, I cannot find a solution. I cannot save the people, please show me the way. Ma! Please show me, Prithvi closes his eyes. Arjun is also behind him and rings the temple's bells loudly. Prithvi turns around. What you need is here the villagers will work shoulder to shoulder to fight Ghori! They all are near the temple, they say they will fight till their last breath. Har Har Mahadev! The conch is blown.

Ghori gets his news as usual, the message is that the village nearby will attack tomorrow. They are preparing for it now, in the morning they will make their move. They will also continue the tunnel I presume, asks Ghori to the messenger.

It is early morning, Prithvi as usual does his routine "surya namaskar" he holds the kalash of water. Two people come from two different directions. One is Ghori’s messenger with a knife and the second is the man from the sena, who was at the tunnels entrance earlier, he also has a weapon and kills the messenger on the spot before he gets to Prithvi. Prithvi has his eyes closed praying. The man who saved Prithvi's life tells that Devwansh was Ghori's man all the time, he is the one who made the arrows like that and made our shields weak and penetrable. I was spying on him and saw him go to the fort. I couldn’t believe that he could do this to us. He is ultimately a traitor.
Ask him why he did it!
Devwansh is brought to Prithvi, he beats him, tell me your reason to deceive us now it won't take long to kill you.
Devwansh explains that it was Ghori who told him to make the shields weak. Vice versa stronger arrows were manufactured for Ghori's troops. Devwansh also has informed Ghori about the tunnel and it will open towards the temple. After telling everything Devwansh requests Prithvi not to kill him and to spare his life.

Vaishalli tells Sanyo to get ready, they are coming, do as I have told you to do. Both have a playful discussion., Vaishalli asks Sanyo loudly when Uday and Kadhambari are near, why are you so happy today?
Well, I am so in love, I no longer love Prithvi.

Arjun is furious I will not leave that Devwansh! A traitor! He made our shields like that, now even Ghori knows about our tunnel we will have to change our exit direction now and make it east instead. We will take the village folks through the tunnel. We can only keep Devwansh alive till then. Pay attention to him all the time till we finish the work, if he tries to run and tell Ghori anything, kill him on the spot. Prithvi asks how much more time for the tunnel to be completed?

Prithvi and village folk are aligned and stand in rows, he gives some tips about fighting as they are new. Prithvi arranges the troops, he also tells them how to use the shields, keep them away from your body, so the arrows don’t penetrate you that easily. Har Har Mahadev!

Kahn tells Ghori that, Prithvi has been saved he is alive.
How was he saved? Where is Devwansh?
He is still in Prithvi's domain. He couldn't do the work, I will kill him. Even if Prithvi digs the tunnel it will be for his death only then I will definitely complete his "quahish".

Ghori's troops continue their efforts, they drop hot boiling water from kettles from the top of the fort, the water will distract and they shoot more arrows at Prithvi’s sena below.

Arjun and S Singh make great efforts in handling the digging work at the site.

More big boulders are thrown by Ghori's forces, the shields protect the sena once more with all its strength. More and more boulders are thrown some are very big the full weight crushes some of the sena. The sena even push the boulders aside and get up again, half injured. Prithvi is aware of the situation still he tells his forces to keep the fighting on some how don’t lose your "himmat".
Arjun has taken them all deep inside the tunnel. At the fort Prithvi takes the fight till night. The conch is sounded.

In Bharatpur, Sanyo is ill, Uday and the servant take care of her. The vaid advises to give the medicine 3 times a day to relieve fever. Uday tells Sanyo to take this "kadaa" the fever will go.
No it’s very bitter, Sanyo refuses.
You are my guest and have to take it, otherwise Jaichand will say to us we didn't take care of you properly. You must take this. Sanyo drinks the medicine.

Its night, the sena have retreated for the evening, everybody takes rest and tend their wounds. Arjun, S Singh inquire about Prithvi are you okay Arjun asks?
"Teek HU", how far has the tunnel gone to.
Very much deep, just wait till tomorrow we are already half way done.
We did it this time we kept them occupied now tomorrow again, I am sure victory awaits us. Har Har Mahadev! Har Har Mahadev!

So this was all a trick, he just did this to keep us occupied and to take our attention for the digging, "Bahut Kub". An informer reveals Prithvi's strategy. The shield was not for fighting, but to avoid the loss of soldiers to make time. Okay. How much time do we have before the tunnel is completed, Ghori asks the informer.
By the afternoon, Prithvi will again try to hit us.
Ha hahahahahah, okay fine we will wait till the afternoon comes and play their game, but this time our arrows will be of iron. Prithvi this is your last morning, tommorrow morning. Ghori has found out the entire plans of Prithvi, he laughs haughtily. One thing tell me where will the tunnel open up to, the exit point?
"Pascheem" near the temple.
"Teek hai", go now don't be late or Prithvi will know about you. If Prithvi changes his plans it will be fun. Go! Tata Kahn you know war is fought by using the brain. I have thought about it carefully, I new it would finally come to use. By his plan Prithvi will be slaughtered, when they come from the tunnel we will be waiting for them all. Prithvi doesn’t know about our tunnel. One informer of the sena is listening and goes to warn the latter.

Its night they are advancing the digging work but Arjun sees some danger ahead in the ground, Prithvi gives a hand and takes a rod to hit the dirt further. Prithvi makes an observation and says the land inside is thin, at any cost we must dig and go ahead, come start again from this area. Arjun and Prithvi keep up the work and dig as much as they can. Some man approaches the entrance of the tunnel. Devwansh also comes to the entrance. He watches but the rest are busy digging.
It will take much more time like this, exclaims S Singh. They are having some technical difficulties in the digging.
We have no other way, Prithvi hits the soil harder he is panting and sweating badly, sand is here ahead chance of the tunnel to cave in.
Yes Prithvi, says Arjun, he takes his place and digs further, while Prithvi comes out of the tunnel. Water is offered Prithvi washes his face and hands. Next is the man spying and Devwansh who made the shields, they are both still there. Prithvi is exhausted for the days work.
The iron smith makes the special iron arrows at Ghori's camp. Ghori checks to make sure that they are sharp, unlike what Prithvi did to the shields to see if they are puncture proof. Ghori asks one of his troops to hold up the shield. Ghori aims the arrow and shoots, he is satisfied with the product. We will see Prithvi by morning for war. Who will save you from MGhori!

Some village folks are aware of the plans and that Ghori has found out everything. They have come to know that Ghori has a special arrow to attack. One young man discusses with the group about it and they all share their views. Don't think of fighting when they will attack like this, what if Prithvi loses?
Maharaj is fighting for us and our freedom, and now you all chose to back out? Says the young man. The rest of the group tell the young man we will not go to fight, you can alone.
Morning has arrived, Prithvi waits with the sena and the shields ready. Again like yesterday we must fight as long as possible. S Singh will make the tunnel and we will kill all of them. Har Har Mahadev! Har Har Mahadev! They use the spear to attack Ghori's troops. In retaliation they are showered by arrows. The arrows are so sharp that they penetrate all the shields. Everybody in Prithvi’s sena are hit badly, all are shocked. Some are also killed some are badly injured 2-4 arrows penetrate the shields at a time, even Prithvi is hit on the arm. Those who have the shields close to their body are killed instantly. After a while all the sena are found dead scattered all over the place, in front of the fort.
M Ghori flaunts his body and comes out on the fort. "Arey! What do I see?" Maharaj Prithvi in this kind of situation? "Bade afsos ki bath hai". How did this all happen? Yesterday our arrows dropped like flowers, but what has happened today? Oh!Actually these arrows are of special variety Prithviraj! War is over! Finish war Prithvi! All your people are dead. But still you have one road, forget your strength and beg on your knees so I can give mercy and save your life!
Prithvi has been listening to Ghori's taunts. MGhori! All of HINDUSTAN will fight but "sar nahi juke sakthe".
"Teek hai", I will permit you to this to me. Ghori asks for his weapon, he aims the arrow directly on Prithvi ready to kill him instantly.
Prithvi has no protection at all and looks at Ghori up on the fort from below as the scorching sun rages brilliantly.
