At the village all pray for Prithviraj, God let our king have a long life. If the villagers had not been saved then nobody would have been saved. What has become of the friends, Arjun and Chand ask the people, they both lie on the ground unconscious.
It’s a thorn bush, which one should I pick? Prithvi looks desperately, this must be it. Prithvi falls on the ground, nothing will happen to my “sathiyo” nothing, As Prithvi reaches for the right plant, Nil comes and kicks him. Prithvi loses his balance, as he has weakened and stumbles to the ground. I knew you put poison in the water. You were told to do this all, by Ghori.
Yes Prithvi! Our Sultan won this time.
Move from my way! Prithvi shouts at Nil, and fights him. Nil easily pushes him to the ground. Prithvi gets up and hits Nil with all his might. Nil has fallen, If anything happens to my troops I will kill you all move from my way!
“Bas!” Maharaj even if you stand you cannot survive. I will burn all the plants, even if any are left, I will not allow you to take.
The mukhiya, head of the village is concerned, they need some more herbs they wait for Prithvi, is there any other way to treat them, he asks the vaid?
There is another route, they all turn their heads and look at the Devi Idol. Inside the temple the brahmin does “arthi” All go to pray at the temple. Prithvi is unconscious so are his buddies Chand and Arjun .
Nil has already taken the torch and ignited the grass, to burn the bush required for medicine. He cannot see Prithvi anywhere and wonders where he has gone, he mumbles go and hide Prithvi, once I burn all the herbs you will burn with it.
Prithvi comes out of the darkness and bashes Nil and kicks him repeatedly. Prithvi's head starts to ache. Nil gets up and kicks Prithvi back. Prithvi makes him twirl around and finally breaks his leg.
This cannot be! Prithvi sees the flames engulfing the grass. He tries to stop it from burning and quickly scrambles to pull out the live bush.
All pray at the temple.
Prithvi tries to get as many branches as he can and starts his run back to the village. He stumbles again on the way but manages to stand upright. A little step ahead and Prithvi is down again, he is unconscious now.
The mukhiya of the village is wondering where Maharaj is, he has still not come back.
Prithvi has the herbs in his hand, he opens his eyes and tries to get up again.
Mukhiya says, if you don’t come now we may not be able to save the troops.
Prithvi gets up with great difficulty and tries to walk, he see the village ahead. He calls vaidji in a soft tone. The vaid sees Prithvi and walks towards him, he falls once more.

At his territory Ghori is laughing so hard, he is so delighted with the events. What steps the situation must have gone to. The poison must have taken the toll like insects on them. You have lost even before reaching the destination of the war grounds! Prithvi you have forgot that making enemy with Ghori will get you nowhere. You are nothing but lambs caught between foxes, "Tabai!”. Let’s head for the war grounds Ghori orders his army. I am sure before reaching the war grounds you will be running back to Dhilli! Hahah Ghori laughs some more.
Vaidji says we got the herbs, but time is less, I must start the treatment immediately, everybody come forward to help, he says. All gather around the vaid, he gives them different duties. Take the plant and start to make the concoction. Chand, Arjun are put on a cot and examined .
Mukhiya is concerned, he asks the vaid if Maharaj's troops will be okay?
We should be proud of him he has saved all of the civilians without thinking twice, we must save the troops now.

Jaichand is greeted by Queen mother, but a servant by mistake drops a tray full of things on the floor and everything gets scattered all over the place.
What is this! It is not good, mother tells.
All the circumstances combined make Jaichand think. Jaichand comes to a conclusion that it would be better to avoid the swayamwar for the next 15 days, as per what the swami had told before. He says the preparations will continue as usual. The swayamwar will only be postponed 15 days.
Sanyo continues her chant, Om Namaha Shivaya. Om Namaha Shivaya. Om Namaha Shivaya.

The villagers gather around their Maharaj. Prithvi is on the cot, he moves his head. Maharaj has become well! Maharaj is okay, they say! Prithvi tries to get up. No Maharaj you still need to rest!
Vaidji where is Chand, Arjun? Nothing has happened to them?
Chand and Arjun walk to Prithvi's cot, with you nothing can happen to us, with a friend like Prithvi. They gather around Prithvi, the villagers are also around his cot.
Prithvi gets up, vaidji are our troops okay? Vaidji you saved my troops? Prithvi gets no answer. He turns his head and sees many of his men lying dead on the ground, kept in row. Prithvi asks them all to forgive him! He cries, Arjun and Chand also shed tears. Prithvi wipes his eyes, Ghori I will punish you for this, a coward you are. I will respond to all your attacks in your style.
Sanyo continues her chants to the Lord Shiva, Om Namaha Shivaya. Om Namaha Shivaya.

Prithvi, Chand, Arjun and the vaid are all gathered outside the room where Nil is. Vaidji is there a window in the room asks Prithvi.
No.
Then Arjun says go I will look after the trooper. The trooper has already escaped through the roof and runs to tell Ghori the change of Prithvi’s plans. Arjun opens the door to see if he is still there. A bed sheet is spread on top of the bed. The traitor Nil takes a horse and makes his getaway to Ghori.
Somebody announces Sultan, Nil has come. How is he here he should be with Prithvi.
Nill explains, they have changed their plans they will go to Thanagaon not Sawrigaon.
You need a prize "Sha-bhass" tells Ghori.
Now I must leave and go back or they may get doubt on me.
No, trooper go to Thanagaon and poison all the lakes and wells. Prithvi! You forgot you're opponent is not a Hindustani but Ghori!

Prithvi asks Arjun, how is he okay?

How long? Vaidji told he will wake up soon. Prithvi and Arjun again enter the room. Prithvi lifts the bed sheet, Nill has already returned from his journey and is fast asleep. Prithvi and Arjun leave the room again. Nil is awake and smiles.

All attention is on the dance, water is distributed for drinking, mugs of water are given to Prithvi, Chand and Arjun also, they drink the water. They enjoy the entertainment and drink.
Ladies in choli/gagra, men in colourful turbans dance. Suddenly somebody calls out vaidji, vaidji! All start to collapse, Prithvi also sees them fall and calls out Vaidji! He comes outside and examines some of the people.
What happened to all of them asks Prithvi.
There is poison in all of the bodies.

I don't have the medicine for all the people. Should I save the troops or the civilians/villagers?
Prithvi is silent, he doesn't say anything.
Tell fast Prithvi! Tell me, we have less time. Prithvi is in a dilemma. Somebody shouts Maharaj! Maharaj! Somebody poisoned the whole lake and the wells too. People have drunk the water also and the poison is affecting us.
Fast! Tells Vaidji again.
First you must save the civilians tells Prithvi.
No Maharaj first save the troops, tells the village head, we are less important than the latter.
Prithvi repeats his orders to the vaid to give priority to the villagers.
Vaidji orders everyone to start collecting the herbs, Maharaj can you also fetch the herbs please then we can also try to save the troops too.

In the southern area towards the mountain are bush with thorns.

Jaichand sits in the pavilion, come Guruji please have seat, the invitation cards have been circulated all the kings have been invited.
Maharaj I have checked on “Puranvasi ka din” there is no “shub muhurath” it is not an auspicious day for the marriage at all. I think we should avoid the marriage for 15 more days, he warns.
No! Jaichand is adamant, it doesn't matter, it will not be avoided. On “puranvasi ka din” Maharaj Prithviraj will fight war and here the swayamwar of Rajkumari Sanyogita will take place simultaneously. There is no other appropriate time for it, Jaichand explains clearly to the Guruji.

Prithvi makes a run up the steep mountain while Chand and Arjun fight to stay alive with the others. Some child shouts baba, baba open your eyes vaidji will come.
Prithvi runs faster.
Arjun wakes a boy up and requests them all to stay awake and hang on for some more time. See, he says the medicine has been prepared.
Nil is also there, he does his drama of sickness too. He doesn't want Prithvi to succeed in getting the herbs in time to save everybody.
Prithvi makes more efforts, the poison also starts to take effect on him, he still makes his way up the hill.
Arjun orders the vaid to administer the medicine to everybody one by one, the situation is tense.
Meanwhile the traitor Nil runs behind to stop Prithvi from getting the plants.
Prithvi is staggering and finally falls, he tries to get up. He has become dizzy, and collapses again. Prithvi breathes deeply, he prays to God to give him energy and be successful in the mission, he lies on the ground.
Chand and Arjun ask people to wake up, Prithvi will come soon, nothing will happen to you all.
Prithvi tries to get up, he makes great efforts to do so. He finally succeeds and stumbles to a big rock, he continues his walk up the hill.
Nil is nearing him.
Open your eyes requests Chand to the civilians and troops Prithvi is coming soon, that is his last words. Chand also collapses the poison has taken affect on him too.
Prithvi runs ahead.
At the village Arjun and Chand are down.
Prithvi looks around for the herbs he coughs and looks for the bush, which are the herbs? He tries to distinguish and select the correct one, time is running out.

Yes Sanyogita, Jaichand explains to her, Ghori and Prithviraj will go to war on the same day as the swayamwar on "puranvasi ki din". All your chances have been wasted Prithivraj will lose to Ghori, the "anjam" is death, Jaichand tells her proudly.
I will never let the swayamwar take place. I will marry only Prithviraj.

Prithvi and Arjun get up and face Ghori. Prithvi glares at Ghori both are in the disguise, I see in your face death Prithvi tells Ghori like a prophecy.

Meanwhile Ghori grows impatient and wonders why Prithvi and his troops still have not come.

Ghori is a bit alarmed and realizes the sages were no other than Prithvi and Arjun. Prithviraj! Ghori shouts out loud in the cave.

Ghori orders his troops to poison the lakes and wells of Sawrigaon before Prithvi reaches the place.

Ghori will try very hard to kill us before we reach, we must be careful. The coward doesn't have patience to start the war he is in such a hurry, Prithvi comments.

Sanyo has tears in her eyes, she is also worried about Prithvi. She remembers her father’s words. The guards lead her to the room, here it is, they open her room door and force her in.

All are settled and take their food, meanwhile Nil makes his plans, he eats something suddenly and collapses down to the ground, it’s an act.
Take him to the vaid tells Prithvi. Quickly!
In the vaid’s house he announces that Nil is fine. I have given some medicine, he will come back to consciousness. He is lying on the bed.
Prithvi orders to keep an eye on him, he has some doubt. The all walk out of the room and the door is closed. The spy wakes up and tries to leave the room.

How do you know, asks Arjun.

Sanyo and Roopali are happy they return to Kannauj. A guard gives Jaichand the message of their arrival. “Teek hai” Go!
I am so happy tells Sanyo I never knew it would be that easy to ruin it all. I am just worried about Jaichand finding out tells Roopali. Jaichand is listening from the corridor to the conversation.

Prithvi says, no, Senapati we will not go to Kali Ma temple. Prithvi instead orders Arjun and Chand to take the army to the other route. All change their directions.
Stop Prithvi, Chand hails. Why are we not going to Kali Ma temple?
I just thought we will take some rest, it will be alright. We will come closer to the middle of the war grounds that’s all by stopping here. Nil, Prithvi hails him.

Prithvi is at his quarters asleep once again, he dreams of running and looking for Pundir. He shouts his name in the dream. He looks frantically everywhere in the fields, it is nightfall. Prithvi faces some dacoits, he shouts where are you Pundir! He continues to run ahead, by the time he hears Pundir calling his name too. He turns around and sees Pundir fall, he is stabbed by numerous swords, dacoits have killed him. He rushes to make last attempts of saving him but it’s too late. No! Pundir! Prithvi suddenly wakes up from his bed, and is very upset. How he just saw a dream of Pundir with numerous swords stabbed in his back. He starts to reminiscence Sanjam’s death too. He sees the thunder and lightening crash in front of him from the window in his room. A cool breeze rushes through it and he wraps the shawl around his body. He walks to the quarters of Guruji and wakes him up.
