Prithvi finished his prayers in front of the Shiva. Sanyo comes in queue to the Shiva and misses Prithvi. She lifts the niranjan and does ‘arthi’, I cannot ask for Prithvi, because I do not wish to break his oath, but also I cannot live without Prithvi, God. Please show me a path God, just show me a way. Sanyo can hear two ladies discuss about the big ‘arthi’.
Today they will conduct a huge sacred ‘arthi’, so if you come here and pray and tie the red thread, for your wishes to come true, they will.
Really questions the other lady.

Sanyo has overheard their words and gets an idea.
Roopali tells Sanyo time to go now. The guards are waiting for you.
No Roopali we will go after the huge ‘arthi’. Sanyo puts the niranjan down and prays in front of the Shiva.

Prithvi is back in the room looking after Pundir, he lies on the bed. So how is now Pundir?
Better than before. Roshan Ali (Pandit) applies the poisonous ointment on Pundir, on his back side. He places a large heap of some concoction on his back, he says now come, it's time for the "arthi". Let him rest here, his pain will disappear fast.
Prithvi gets up and smiles he leaves the room for the "arthi" also.
Now Maharaj just as soon as the huge "arthi" starts the poison will take effect. By morning you friend will be free from any pain forever and ever.
Everyone in the temple is gathered around the Shiva. Pandit aka R Ali does "arthi". Prithvi prays along with them.
R Ali finishes and gives the blessings of fire too everybody. Sanyo is there also, he gives her the first chance. He walks over to Prithvi and he takes the blessings too.
Sanyo does 'namaskar' and leaves.
Sanyo, Prithvi and some others tie the red thread on the pillar they walk around it in a clockwise direction. Both are nearby but do not see each other. They finish and walk over to the altar of Shiva again to do final prayers. Prithvi closes his eyes and prays. Sanyo does the same, she finishes and turns her head she sees Prithvi next to her she looks at him.
Prithvi finishes praying and opens his eyes too, he also sees Sanyo standing next to him. Both are surprised by the fact that they are right in front of each other. A sudden wind comes into the altar and lifts the other end of Sanyo's sari. The cloth is raised into the air covering Prithvi’s face like a cave, both can only see inside to each other. Both are speechless. The sari falls down back in place again as the wind subsides, still both are silent. Prithvi takes two steps forward towards her and looks at her in silence, he has tears in his eyes. But he remembers his mother's oath and takes two steps back away from her instead.
Sanyo looks at him and can see his behavior. Sanyo says nothing and walks away to leave the altar.
You both have met each other after so many problems, you won't even talk to him asks Roopali?
Prithvi has taken his mother’s oath, I cannot interfere and insult it. She can see Prithvi looking at her she tells her servant let's go. She is about to leave when her guards come inside the temple also.
Rajkumari stop, outside a fierce storm is approaching, instead of going out we should wait here, it will be better.
Sanyo nods her head and turns around she looks at Prithvi again.
Roopali questions, what are you thinking about Rajkumari Sanyo, come we will go back.

In Kannauj, Jaichand and Queen are in their quarters the thunder sounds loudly, they hear it. Jaichand says a storm is coming, the weather looks bad, looks like a bad storm is approaching.
Two guards who were with Sanyo previously have come back to the palace to warn Jaichand, Maharaj they call.
You! You were with Sanyo?
Yes Maharaj we have returned from there.
Why have you come back! Is Sanyo alright? He softens his tone of voice.
Her health has become poor Maharaj, so on the way, she stopped at the Shiv temple to take rest. We thought of informing you this fact.

It is late night, the rain falls, everybody is seated down in the temple. Prithvi watches Sanyo from a distance. She also sits by a pillar looking at him.
What luck I have, R Ali thinks and watches Prithvi, he stays here helpless and by morning I will be in full control. With this scenario all I have to do is get the keys and confiscate the treasure. He walks up to Prithvi who is sitting on the floor, son? Just come with me and help me with changing Pundir's ointment. The old ointment must have dried up, and the more times we apply fresh paste of ointment, the faster he will feel better.
Yes Panditji lets go, Prithvi replies. He gets up and follows the Pandit. Sanyo watches Prithvi walk away, Prithvi also turns his head to see Sanyo while going.
Sanyo is sad and takes support of the pillar to rest.
R Ali walks into the room.
Pundir calls out Prithvi.
Prithvi enters the room and sits down by his side, Pundir!
Pundir has his eyes closed and calls Prithvi again.
Pundir, how is the pain now?
You are with me then, understand that I have no pain.
Prithvi takes his hand, don't worry I will not leave you alone. Prithvi looks at Pandit, give it to me Panditji. He takes the bowl of ointment paste.
Take it, the medicine applied by a friend, will double its strength.
Prithvi goes to the bed and applies the paste on Pundir's back, he gets pain.
R Ali in his mind thinks, the friend applies poison with his own hands, poor fellow. As you continue to apply fresh paste on him more and more, the pain will go away.
Prithvi takes care to put the ointment properly. Don't worry at all Pundir, I will apply the ointment and you will get better.
R Ali watches them both again, he thinks in his mind, take your last "darshan" of your friend Maharaj, it should not be that you will get another chance of it again.
Prithvi has applied the ointment, Pandit helps to put Pundir in a relaxing position, but really he wants to take the keys set from Prithvi. R ALi secretly reaches for Prithvi's 'kurtha' and lifts it up to see the keys attached to his 'salwar'. He removes it gently without Prithvi noticing it, and takes it away.
Pundir's eyes are closed, he looks worse than before. Prithvi asks, what is it Panditji? Even after applying the ointment his pain seems to have increased.
That's because he had lost alot of blood before coming here. But you don't worry the reaction of the medicine will take effect and all his problems will go away.
Prithvi is worried, he shakes his head with his hands to wake him up, Pundir? Pundir open your eyes, Pundir? Prithvi looks at Panditji.
Panditji says you don't worry, he sleeps because of the effect of the medicine, let’s go and let him sleep till morning.
Prithvi nods his head, and pats his friend’s head softly in anticipation he will really feel better.

In the night the full moon is seen, Jaichand rides with his guards on horse, to get Sanyo back. Behind run other troops.
There it is, the temple! Shouts the guard, they have reached the place.
Let’s go, shouts Jaichand.

Inside the temple everybody sits patiently waiting for the storm to pass. Prithvi’s attention is on an old man he stands impatiently. Prithvi tries to make the old man relax, Baba?
Son, just take me over there in that area of the temple, that’s where Sanyo is sitting. Sanyo looks at Prithvi, he looks at her too.
Prithvi takes him, slowly Baba and gives him support to walk. They reach in front of Sanyo, Prithvi makes him sit down on the floor. Sit here comfortably he says to him.
Prithvi leaves, where are you going son he pulls his hands, you sit here, there is no other place to sit anyways.
Prithvi looks around and sees if he can find another place to sit, but Baba is right, there isn't any, so he goes and sits right next to Sanyo.
Sanyo looks at Prithvi and he looks at her they say nothing.
One man sitting nearby says, I am very thirsty, can you pass the water?
A pot is near their feet, Sanyo and Prithvi both react and try to pick up the mud pot full of water at the same time. They both stop, then finally Prithvi retracts his hand to avoid any contact with her. Sanyo is disheartened by his behavior and she alone passes the pot to the thirsty man, tears roll down her cheek. Sanyo looks at Prithvi, she cannot bear it anymore, so she finally gets up from the place where she is sitting and runs to the exit of the temple.
Roopali who is sitting in another location can see her get up and run, she tells wait Rajkumari Sanyo! She also gets up and asks her where are you going! There is a dangerous storm!
Prithvi also gets up and shouts Sanyogita stop! He runs behind her.
The lightning strikes and thunder crashes, Sanyo runs out of the temple into the dark night.
Prithvi follows behind, Sanyo listen to me, Sanyo, he shouts as he runs. Prithvi chases her, Sanyogita!
Sanyo has passed the temple complex and has come to the forest.
Sanyogita stop! Sanyogita listen to me, he follows her.
Roopali is still in the temple, Jaichand already has reached inside he walks over to her, behind him are the guards. He asks her where is Sanyo?
Roopali bows her head.
Jaichand asks again, I am asking you where is Sanyo?
She has.. has..
Jaichand looks around and calls Sanyogita. He searches the entire area for her, Sanyogita!
Sanyo runs next to a lake, Prithvi is steady behind her, Sanyogita! Prithvi shouts her name. Don't go any further stop, Sanyo! Stop Sanyo!
Sanyo just ignores him and runs ahead on the hill. She loses her balance and slips down.
Prithvi sees her and yells Sanyogita!
She is losing her balance and can fall any minute now, but Prithvi runs faster and catches her hand before she slips into the lake. Sanyo looks in a different direction to avoid eye contact with him, then she turns and finally looks at him.
Where were you running to in this storm? Both of them walk closer to each other, both have tears in their eyes. What if something happened to you?
No answer from her.
I am asking you something Sanyogita, tell me. Say something.
She says nothing instead she cries some more, she then hugs Prithvi and cries even more in his arms.
