Prithvi wants the vaid to save Pundir’s life. I cannot lose my friend, if this medicine gives Pundir another chance to live then I give full permission to give it to him.
Still think it over warns the vaid.
I have already thought it over.
The vaid nods his head and gets up, he says he will be back. The vaid walks over to his table and starts to prepare the medicine, taking care to use that special herb, he mixes the ingredients in the bowl and crushes it.
Prithvi waits for him to make it and looks at his friend.
The vaid is finished making the medicine he walks back to Pundir with the bowl of green coloured mixture. He requests Prithvi to help turn him upside down on his back. The vaid quickly applies the concoction on the injured area.
Prithvi remembers Sanjam all of a sudden, the memory still haunts his mind.
The vaid finishes applying a good quantity of the mixture and wraps the wound around with a cloth bandage. Pundir is turned back on his back while the vaid ties the knot of the bandage in front. He finishes and then tells now all we have to do is wait. If the medicine yields the correct reaction, then your friend will come back to normal. But if the medicine doesn’t work, then the result will be bad and you will lose your friend.
Prithvi is in a dilemma.

At the temple, people thank God that the storm subsided.
Everyone takes the blessings and everything is normal as usual. Jaichand and Sanyogita pray in front of the Shiva. Jaichand says now lets go my daughter, I will accompany you to Hastinagaon. Jaichand goes outside.
Sanyo still prays and thanks God, from today onward I will not ask for anything. Roopali is by her side, you know Roopali my mind has finally come to peace. After meeting Prithvi I feel like I have got everything, that much, that I can go on with my entire life with him only. Sanyo smiles at Roopali they both pray and walk out of the temple. Sanyo says, now the only thing to do is to avoid the swayamwar somehow.
Just come we will do it, says Roopali.
Jaichand has become impatient, he comes back to call them, come, walk fast he tells his daughter, otherwise it will get late to reach the place, come quickly.
Sanyo watches her father go, but I don’t understand with father around how will we able to do the task.
There will be some way or another tells Roopali.
Sanyo turns around to see the Shiva, yes you are right some way or another we will find the way she smiles, come let’s go. They leave the temple to go to Hastinagaon.

In the vaid’s house Prithvi waits for any positive result of Pundir’s recovery. Prithvi walks back and forth, he stares at his buddy’s face for a moment. He realizes he must do something for his life. He eyes the Krishna Idol in the room. Prithvi walks over to it and kneels down to pray, side by side he still remembers Sanjam also.
The vaid returns to check on Pundir and takes his pulse.
Prithvi turns his head and watches. He gets up and walks over to the bed to Pundir’s side. What happened vaidji? Tell me! Why don’t you say anything?
The vaid doesn’t answer him just looks.
Prithvi demands an answer he is angry.
The vaid checks his pulse some more.
Will Pundir be okay, what’s happened to him!
The vaid cannot understand what has happened to him so far, he drops Pundir’s arm down on the bed, Prithvi is asking so many questions to him, he is speechless. Finally he says son, he…..
What he? When will you find out if Pundir is okay or not? Till the medicine takes effect how much more time do we have to wait for that? Prithvi looks at the vaid he is very annoyed. His attention goes back on Pundir, it seems his nervous system is making him shake and vibrate, the vaid sees it too.
Pundir’s head shakes rapidly too much in fact, Prithvi watches in shock and falls down to his side, Pundir! Pundir! He looks at vaid, what’s happening to him vaidji! Pundir’s whole body shakes rapidly. Tell me vaidji! What’s this happening to him! Prithvi is panicking.
The vaid says nothing he just watches Pundir.
Hopefully the medicine doesn’t give the negative effects! For God’s sake do something vaidji!
Vaidji is sympathetic, what I can tell you son, he is also helpless as Prithvi is. Even I cannot understand what is really happening to him.
Pundir’s body shakes rapidly the whole cot shakes, Prithvi is irritated, what do you mean by that, you are supposed to save him! He is getting a paralysis attack why don’t you try to do something and treat him! Prithvi comes closer to his friend, Pundir! See…. Pundir you cannot leave me Pundir!
Pundir stops moving suddenly, Prithvi panics even more he shouts Ehhhhhhhhhh! Prithvi cannot accept the inevitable.
Vaid takes his hand to check his pulse and smiles he taps his forehead, you take care of yourself son.
Prithvi cries on his friend’s chest. Prithvi didn’t seem to understand what vaid said.
Vaid consoles Prithvi, his health is improving, the danger is over, yes.
Prithvi’s anguish disappears, he calms down after hearing those words, he pats his friend, and looks at the vaid.
Vaid nods positively with a smile.
Prithvi sees with relief, Pundir.
Krishna has come to the rescue.

Jaichand, Sanyo and Roopali have reached Hastinagaon. They enter the workshop where they dye the threads. The senior person or owner recognizes Jaichand and bows in respect, Maharaj you are here? Why did you go to the trouble to come all the way here? If you had ordered me I would have come to you instead.
Jaichand is amused, but Rajkumari Sanyogita wanted to come and see the preparations of her marriage herself.

The owner returns.
Sanyo asks him, where is the actual place where you dye the threads.

At the vaid’s home, Prithvi and Pundir discuss about the enemy, so Narsimha is actually Roshan Ali, a surprise, he had been fooling us for so long, and we could never figure it out all this time. He must have reached to our treasure by now. This all has happened because of me, Pundir blames himself.
Prithvi listens silently leaning against the wall.
If we had not been caught up in this problem, you would have caught Roshan Ali by now.
Prithvi finally answers, my first and only priority is my friend's life, Pundir, he goes and sits by his side. And about Roshan Ali, he won't be able to stay away from my reach for a long time.

Roshan Ali and Ghori's men have made it to the location of the treasure, situated in the forest, in the cave. Dhilli's guards stand at the entrance to guard it all in a row. R Ali takes his bow to kill the guards, but first dips the arrows in poison. R Ali kills all the unsuspecting guards posted at the cave each fall dead one by one. He and the troops come out of hiding and quickly run inside the cave.

Pundir rests on the bed in the vaid’s home, he calls, no Prithvi, he is very tricky, we must leave immediately. And if doesn't come in our hands this time, then we may never be able to save our treasure again. Pundir tries to get up.
Prithvi stops him and makes him lay back on the bed. Prithvi answers, this is not for you to worry about, even if he is able to get our treasure, he will not be able to cross the border of Dhilli with it.

Meanwhile at the cave R Ali kills the guards inside, at the door with arrows. They open the door and go inside where all the gold and statues are kept. R Ali is thrilled to see it all. There are trays of emeralds and rubys, many golden figures and pots fill the room. Also a tray of diamonds is seen. All the troops enter to take the loot. R Ali runs his hands into a tray and orders everyone to take all the goods and treasures away.
They all start to take what they can.

Pundir requests Prithvi to leave himself here and go after
R Ali.
No Pundir, you don't worry Chand and Arjun are coming. Once they get here, after that, I will go to search for R Ali.
What if he steals and takes our treasure away in that time, then what?
I told you Pundir you just don't worry about it. I have already told you that even if he does take our treasure, he won't be able to leave Dhilli territory. Plus you already know the place where we have kept the riches, it's the same place where there is only one tiny road to cross the border of Dhilli and for them to reach it will take one full day, 24 hours. Arjun and Chand have finally come to the house of the vaid. They run inside the room to meet Pundir. Chand calls Pundir.
Prithvi gets up and tells Arjun you will stay here and look after Pundir. I and Chand will leave to search for R Ali, it will take the poor man one entire day for him to reach the Dhilli border.
Chand and Arjun are listening.
In his entire life this one day will become his most difficult, the most difficult, day for him.

Sanyo and Roopali watch the workmen do the tasks. One dyer arranges the threads for dying on a rack. Sanyo watches people do different duties in the room and sees the spool of thread boiling in the pot. Many colours of thread hang for drying. Sanyo walks over to the man who is tying the threads on a rack. Sanyo asks the owner, how much more will these artisans be working.
Dying work has to be done continuously, that's why these people work in two shifts. As soon as night comes, other workers come and take over the work from the earlier shift.
Sanyo and Roopali listen. Sanyo questions the owner, this must be hard work right?
Yes, the work is difficult, but for Rajkumariji we have to make those threads, there is no question of relaxation. The owner orders his worker to pay attention to his work, there must not be even a tiny mistake. The owner leaves to supervise the other work.
Roopali whispers to Sanyo, what should we do know?
Sanyo looks around and says we won't be able to do anything right now, we will have to wait till night. Sanyo's attention falls on a big pot on the floor full of reddish-pink dye, she gestures to Roopali with her eyes to look at it, Sanyo has an idea.

Prithvi and Chand have reached the cave they see the dead guards and the entrance is wide open. They both look with shock and rush inside the room. Everything has been robbed. Prithvi looks at the empty room while Chand walks around to see the loss. Prithvi sees that everything has been stolen by R Ali.
Chand is annoyed, oh my God, what is all this? Looks like we have reached here very late.
Prithvi tells him not to worry, everything is still in our favour, they must have gone far with the goods.
Chands says but we don't even know where they have gone.
I already told you there is only one path and road to follow to come out of this area, the neighboring village is surrounded only by jungle, and the local people here use only this road to go and come. Prithvi tells Chand to come, we must catch him under any circumstance. Prithvi and Chand leave the cave and ride away on their horses, they follow the same road Prithvi was talking about.

Ahead on the road are some men with a bullock cart full of goods, all packed. They are none other than R Ali and the troops. One troop warns his sardar, look Prithvi is coming in this direction.
They are all disguised in civilian attire, R Ali can see them come. They have come behind me and come till here? R Ali is surprised.
Prithvi and Chand have come to the bullock carts they are right in front of R Ali but do not know it. Chand says to Prithvi there is nobody here, they stop their horses.
Prithvi says, we will go and search ahead, they ride their horses away passing by their treasure and R Ali.
R Ali watches them leave, Maharaj you have been fooled, it’s not easy work to conquer R Ali.


It’s late at night at the dyeing factory, Sanyo walks back and forth in the guest room, impatiently.
Roopali comes in the room, see this Rajkumari Sanyo we now have these civilian garments, she shows the packet to her, come lets quickly put them on, she smiles.
Sanyo takes her set of clothes.
Roopali also says, look at this, she has something in her hand, this item is special she shows it to her.

Her father shifts in the bed and they both duck down in case he wakes up. He didn't wake up, Sanyo calls Roopali they leave the room to get to the workshop where all the workers/artisans are doing their night shift. Sanyo looks into the room and sees the workers working hard, Roopali brings the drinks on a tray.
Sanyo says lets starts now, she takes out the pouch of sleeping medicine and mixes it all in the drinks secretly. Sanyo and Roopali pull down the veils on their faces to avoid recognition and walk to each and every worker to serve drinks, they pose as the servants.
One worker is thrilled and says wow, cold, cold buttermilk! You both have done some good for us he tells Sanyo.
Another worker says, doing work till morning our mouths have dried up, he takes one cup.
Sanyo requests them, then drink it up fast we have other work to do.
The two workers drink up the buttermilk while Sanyo and Roopali serve the other workers.
Jaichand wakes up from his bed and calls the servant, is there anybody? One man comes, Jaichand asks him to bring water, my throat has dried from thirst.
The man goes and sees Sanyo and Roopali in the workshop, listen what are you two doing here? Maharaj is thirsty, go and give him some water.
Sanyo responds, but this is buttermilk, I will go and get the water now for Maharaj.
Why don't you give the same, it’s a question of thirst says the man.
Jaichand comes out of the room, while the man drinks some buttermilk too.
Sanyo and Roopali leave the workshop, one by one the workers collapse to the ground and fall asleep. Jaichand meets Sanyo and Roopali in the hallway, their veils cover their faces so he cannot recognize them. Jaichand takes the last cup of buttermilk from the tray and drinks it. He doesn't recognize his daughter. In no time he starts to get dizzy and falls to the ground asleep.
Forgive me father, Sanyo removes the veil from her face and tells Roopali to come on, before they all wake up we must finish our work. Sanyo goes into the workshop and pours a tray full of green powdered dye into the kettle and mixes it with the liquid solution in it. Sanyo smiles and says confidently, three days after they remove the threads they will find out that the threads are not red but have become green. Now our first plan to avoid the swayamwar is successful.

It is night, Prithvi and Chand come into the forest, they are very close to R Ali and his troops, they sit beside a camp fire near some trees.
Chand is annoyed, we have checked the entire road, can't understand, they have gone, but where did they go?
R Ali is watching, he is listening to them.
Prithvi answers, the same thing I cannot figure out either, since this is the only road, then where else can they go?
One troop is carrying some water in an earthen pot and trips, the pot falls down and shatters to the ground. All the water falls on R Ali's legs. He removes his shoes to expose his feet.
Prithvi and Chand are very close by, they see it happen.
R Ali is irritated and scolds him, you cannot see and drink properly!
Prithvi watches them carefully and notices the man has his feet exposed with the colour blue on it, something familiar, just like when R Ali stole the keys. Prithvi has recognized them all dressed in civilian folk attire. It’s R Ali, when Pundir got stabbed at the garden where the keys of the treasure were kept.
